"The soft plastic guard is not that good."  08/25/10

It falls too easily into the bottle. We also have the type that are hard plastic, these are much better as they have a lip that prevents it from being pushed in too far and falling into the bottle.

"Smartest thing to happen to a Nalgene in years...."  08/17/10

I hate ice. Sorry to be so direct about it, but it's true.I hate the way it waters down my drinks.I hate the way it makes my hand colder than it should be.But mostly, I hate it because every time I'm not looking, I get a face full of it when drinking out of my Nalgene without paying attention.This little device stops that, but removes easily when I don't need it. The extra hole near the top keeps the airflow going as well.Suck it, ice. Go ruin someone elses shirt.

"No more wearing my beverages."  07/10/10

A great way to prevent the all embarrassing wet T-shirts. I use it while working, and i can now safely drink while driving down bumpy rough roads. It also keeps the ice cubes in the bottle too.

"Great product"  05/22/10

I was a little skeptical when I first saw this.Knowing that everything is guaranteed through Moosejaw I said "I'll give it a try."The SplashGuard works great in my Nalgene bottle. I thought it might slip out when drinking but that is not the case. It stays where it belongs and does a great job of stopping the splash.I will be ordering extras for every bottle we have.

"Best with bad drivers"  04/09/10

If you have ever been on a road trip with the break happy driver who seems to dump you drink in your face the whole way this is for you. Bottom line its awsome and I now own one for ever 32oz big mouth I have. Its also awsome for cooking back at camp to ensure no misses or messes. I love it and you should buy it.

"Greatest invention ever."  12/05/09

I'm clumsy and I always find a way to spill water on myself. This splash guard helps prevent that. I got the smiley face one, so I can always feel good when I drink out of my nalgene.

"Keeps the water off your shirt (and out of your nose)"  12/02/09

Completely if you enjoy being able to walk and drink water at the same time. The ingenious design keeps water from invading your nostrils, directing it to its intended target: your parched mouth. If you don't mind an unexpected shower and that classic "waterboarding" feeling, don't buy this.
