"A Security Guard Against Splashes" 12/31/11
This little guy is awesome. It's super nice not having to worry about spilling my Nalgene all over my face. The SplashGuard fits fairly snuggly inside the bottle, but it is possible to adjust it (or, in my case, accidentally drop it into the bottle's well) once you have it positioned. This product is super helpful!

You might not think it would make a big difference but believe you me it does. Whether you're trying to drink out of your nalgene bottle in the car or on the trail, this makes a huge difference between the front of your shirt being soaked or dry. I loved it so much that I bought one for everyone I know that owns a nalgene wide mouth bottle. Kudos!

I freaking love this thing. Usually when you take a drink from a wide mouth and arent paying attention you either end up with wet cheeks or clothes. Well, not anymore. Introducing the Guyot Designs SplashGuard... the most amazing water bottle accessory there is, unless of course you can fit a little hottie in a bikini in there. You wouldnt think that this little piece of rubber would be so exciting but once you try it you WILL be hooked and wont use a wide mouth without it. And hell its only a couple bucks, quit being cheap and throw one on your next order.

This little accessory is great. My nalgene bottles are now more functional. Drink ice tea from them each day - this slash guard keeps the ice in place. It makes it easier to drink in a moving vehicle too. For the price you can't beat them. Purchase one for every bottle you own, you won't regret it.

These little splash guards are SO HELPFUL! To any Nalgene user out there, it allows you to actually drink AND walk/run/move/sit and do nothing at the same time without all the spills! I got eh lime green one and it's nice, easy to wash, and they're better than the hard plastic splash guards because they seal tight in the mouth of the water bottle and are much easier to wash. Get one or you will spill all over your shirt and people will make fun of you

I bought the Yin Yang design for my blue 32 oz. Nalgene bottle, that I use heavily for swim practices. The splash guard worked like a charm, I used to splash water all over myself while working out, but this really made life easier! Watch out to not push the splash guard into the bottle, they're quite hard to get out, especially if the water bottle is filled.Overall, I think $3.30 is a great deal for such a useful product.

I discovered this product this past weekend while in my local Moosejaw and had no idea there was even such a thing out there that even existed! I love drinking out of my Moosejaw water jugs at work, camping, working out etc. but I always seem to end up dripping water all over myself. This product has put an end to that and is such a simple solution at that :-) Not to mention it comes in so many different colors and designs so there is one out there that men, women and children alike will find one that they love.It's a great product that makes drinking water out of the large mouth water bottles a much easier and worry free experience; nice work!

For me, splashguards are a must for any Nalgene. Nothing is worse than trying to take a drink while doing something else (ie driving) and spilling water everywhere. I like the material this splash guard is made of, and the cute smiley design just makes it irresistible! I have one of these for every Nalgene I own. Definitely recommend!
"Fail!!" 03/07/11
So i bought these for my water bottle and they were extremely helpful in keeping the water from splashing all over me BUT it does something to the water making it foam, smell bad and taste bad. I stop using it because it was making me feel sick. So i would not suggest using them.
