"Perfect for bus trips" 01/11/13
I need a wide mouth bottle to use my steripen, I don't want to carry a separate bottle for trekking so it is my travel bottle too. Only problem is that it is VERY difficult to drink from a wide mouth bottle on a bus, or even a train. With this little gem, problem solved!

Love these things for keeping water from splashing onto my shirt. Have a couple spares for all my Nalgene bottles. It's a must if you're drinking in the car or while walking/hiking. I personally can't stand water bottles with straws, so this thing is perfect for me. Murphy's Law says you will hit a bump in the road or on the trail at the exact moment you sip from your bottle, so do yourself a favor and get one of these. I just wish MJ offered more of a color/style selection.

So I work as a field technician, which means I'm outside all day all the time and as a result I drink a lot of water. I've enviously watched my co-workers drink out of their nalgenes without spilling water all over themselves for years and finally remembered to get one of this magical devices for myself. It's AWESOME, I no longer look like I can't find my mouth every time I'm thirsty. Score!

If you are similar to myself, and you prefer drink from your water bottle without the need or hassle of a straw, but also enjoy not soaking yourself from mouth to foot, because of water overflow, then this little item is MUST have! It helps to limit the flow of water as you drink from your Camelback and Nalgene, and (others?) water bottles. Not to mention, it is easily to clean and can go right into the dishwasher.

No but seriously either you have a splash guard or you have nothing on the mouth of your bottle. But without a splash guard you will look like a fool and have water pouring down your shirt! For a reasonable price there is absolutely no excuse to investing in a splash guard for most of the nalgenes you own! I mean for this price why not buy TWO for each!?

This thing is perfect. If you like drinking water and not spilling it all over your shirt while walking around or hiking then this spashguard is a must have. So easy to put in and take out. Quality stuff! Good stuff to go with the Moosejaw Nalgene!
"A Security Guard Against Splashes" 12/31/11
This little guy is awesome. It's super nice not having to worry about spilling my Nalgene all over my face. The SplashGuard fits fairly snuggly inside the bottle, but it is possible to adjust it (or, in my case, accidentally drop it into the bottle's well) once you have it positioned. This product is super helpful!

You might not think it would make a big difference but believe you me it does. Whether you're trying to drink out of your nalgene bottle in the car or on the trail, this makes a huge difference between the front of your shirt being soaked or dry. I loved it so much that I bought one for everyone I know that owns a nalgene wide mouth bottle. Kudos!
