I bought this pack for a friend (who loves it) but I have the women's version of this packs well. I have taken it everywhere! A 12 mile trail run in Maine, on the plane as my carry on (yes, it even fits under the seat in front of you!), and to and from work everyday. My laptop and much more can fit inside this bad ass little backpack. My favorite parts are the bladder pocket (great for day hikes) and the zipper pockets on the hip belt which make it easy to always have your phone/iPod accessible. This is a GREAT day back. Nice job Gregory.
This pack can take a load. I cram this pack with clothes, a digital SLR camera, additional lens including a Canon 70-200L lens, food and other essentials for dayhiking. I just used it as a carryon this past week. Hauled 3 changes of clothes, a pair of shoes, a Gore-Tex shell, my camera gear, and a laptop. Weighed 26 pounds and it fit in the overhead bin. Can't wait to use it for a weekend camping trip.Only neg is it only has one loop for trekking/ski poles.
This is my go to pack for just about everything. Ideal for long day trips and 3 season solo weekends. Carries like a champ and the cross-flo system does an awesome job of keeping summer humidity off my back. And the the included rain cover is huge plus, no worries at all when the rain comes. Gregory rocks! (moosejaw does too LTM!)
I use this pack for climbing day trips, weekend backpacking and once for iceclimbing. The front access zipper is sweet. Really saves a lot of time wasted fishing around in my old pack. I was a bit of a skeptic of the mesh airflow back, but it performed great in the heat and made me wish I had one years ago. Its well constructed and has held up to my abuse. Highly recommend it.
I've been using this for the last four months or so as a large capacity day pack. Super comfortable, well organized, plenty of room (especially for stuff the grandkids want to bring - those things seem to get added to the pack after 15 minutes or so!). While I have larger and more expensive packs for honest-to-goodness backpacking, this one probably sees the most use. Highly recommended!
I ordered up the Z35 pack last week and had it out for the first time today. Less than ideal conditions w/thunderstorms and temps in the 30's. I put 12.5mi on the pack today and I can tell you this thing is very comfortable! There is a ton of room inside and no shortage of goodies. I really like the clips for the hydration bag. I'm using a MSR 2.5L Hydromedary and it is a very nice complement! The included rainfly is also a plus! Definately recommend to anyone!

"Great quick triI just purchased this pack a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. It is gp pack!"

This pack is great for a quick weekend or week long trip (as long as you're a minimalist packer). I bought it for holding my camera with one lens, snacks and a change of clothes for when I go hiking, camping, backpacking or just traveling. I tend to use mine mostly for day or weekend trips. It is a great size with plenty of room and plenty of pockets that can be used as storage space. The bag is a nice weight with great padding in the shoulders if you get tired of having it on your hips. Also, it has a nice ventilation system. The removable rain cover is excellent, especially when a storm or drizzle hits you when you are not otherwise prepared.I would definitely recommend it!
