I used this backpack to help con my wife into backpacking with me, its super light and pretty attractive (so she says). Anyway the pack has held up great, has awesome storage, and she says its plenty comfortable. Good job Gregory.
"Great all-around bag good for weeks of travel."

Used this bag for a trip to Australia that included a live-aboard dive trip and an Outback safari and it worked great for both. Was able to fit enough clothing in for a 3 week trip that included both hot and cold weather. The bag was well abused while on the safari and held up great.
I love this pack! I have used it a number of times now and it has been perfect for long and short hikes. I love the front pocket for storing my rain gear for quick access. The large zipper on the side also helps with accessing the pack without going through the hassle of opening up the top. The hip belt is super comfortable and the mesh back really helps to keep you from getting too sweaty.
"I wish I could live in this backpack - - like inside it."

I bought this backpack for my wife before we did a trekking trip in Argentina last year. I wish she loved me as much as this backpack. It is strong, stylish, and accessible, all the things that I am not. I wish it was fat and then we could have something in common. Get this pack for your wife if you want her to leave you and have the room to take all her stuff with her.
"Super comfortable and light weekend pack!"

I bought this pack for my wife and she loves it. She says it is extremely comfortable and not overly heavy. She also says that, although it's light, it is still very sturdy. Looking at it it seems very well made and well thought out. The front access to the main pocket is huge, and very nice. I would highly recommend this pack for any female hikers looking for a pack that's more than large enough for a weekend, and if packed properly will go the distance on multi-day trips.
I have the '06 version and it has lasted me backpacking through Europe, SEA, Oz/NZ (soon SA) with no problems. My biggest complaint was the more difficult access (top & a tight side zipper). This front access looks like a godsen! The top and waist pockets are convenient storage. Overall this is a hardy, beautiful pack. In 3 years of rough use, being thrown, half-drowned, etc, all it has to show is a small rip in a mesh pocket and a lost pull from a zipper. Furthermore, it fits a lot (I've used it for everything from long weekends to extensive multi-month trips) and it has a really nice fit for your back (and keeps away sweat) that makes it very comfortable.
