I love this backpack. I had hard time finding the right fitting bag.I tried so many packs, every single one in the store and they ordered some more for me to try on but I always went back to this bag.I'm 5'10'' and between medium and large torso fit. This bag comes only in medium and not large but medium worked for me. I carried 32lb backpack without a problem. It sits very comfortable on my back, the pockets are great and I love the sideways pocket for nalgene bottle easy access without taking bag off. It's a bit pricey but when you walk for days with you bag strapped on you will never feel sorry for spending that money.
Ok, so this pack is a little on the heavy side, but it is awesome for backpacking trips. I have the 60L pack and it works great for 2-3 day trips. I could probably pack it better and go on even longer trips, but haven't so far. Everything is fully adjustable and if you get it positioned on your hips right you'll have a comfortable backpacking trip, even with 40 lbs!
This is the only pack I’ve ever owned, and it’ll probably last me forever. It fits very comfortably-it doesn’t rub the wrong way anywhere, it’s lightweight, and yet it manages to fit everything I need for a hike. I used it all summer in Alaska and never had a major issue. It would be nice if the hip belt pockets were a little larger; not much fit in them. Also, it was tricky keeping my hydration hose in place. There wasn’t a good spot to attach it on the outside. The top detaches and becomes a daypack, but be warned that you have to wear it as either a fanny pack or a sort-of-awkward over-the-shoulder sling bag.Bottom line: it’s a great pack. And it comes with a lifetime guarantee. Buy it.
Comfortable pack! Used for a 50 m hike with 45 lbs. I’m 5'2/125 lbs. Put 3L bladder in side compartment. Fit perfectly. Easy access for quick refills! Love external access to the main compartment & flap on front for quick access items. Sleeping bag fit in the bottom, but I prefer it on outside. Top hood has 2 compartments. Great for things I needed fast. H2O bottle pkt on side that is angled so it’s reachable while walking. Other pkt is vertical so anything can be stored there. Zippered pockets on hip belt were KEY for easy access items. Heavy when full, but compresses down BEAUTIFULLY. Compression straps are great. Great pack for all b/c of its ability to carry so much or compress down.
