Perfect fit (260, 6ft) great organization and access, plenty of load capacity.Have been using this as a travel pack, mostly. Training into big cities, subway and ferries. Carries all I need for weeks at a time. Fit is perfect for me. Access by zippered front is great, with top loading for extra stuff. Rain cover built in and easy to use. Intelligent design waist belt and great compression strap set up. Small zip pockets on and behind waist belt offer good organization and access for keys, wallet, passport, etc. Top pocket has inside and outside compartment which is waterproof. Frame is comfy and supportive and allows decent ventilation for your back.

Great design with great features.I tried a lot of packs before taking this one out. It packs up quick and holds a ton for the size while keeping everything accessible and organized. I liked the suspension even better than the BD ACTIV - it fits perfectly and rides just right. Built-in raincover/pocket and hydration storage pouch is hand, as is the front access horseshoe zipper and roll-top upper access. Well balanced - extremely comfortable - tons of well-thought extras. I couldn't be happier.

2 big problems with it...Awesome pack. Great design with the integrated rain fly. Cool use of fold over water proof top pouch. And sweat little daisy chain loops on the backside. Very clever in the organizational department.,,,,2 Problems which made me return it though:,,First, the top pocket/lid is not removable nor height adjustable, which means no day pack nor stuffing in various pads under it.,,The second and most major issue, There is basically no padding! The waist belt is ok up to 30lbs but over and you got some major pains. Also, the the back support is basically non existent so it tends to uncomfortably barrel out and into your back, especially but only because of a water bladder inside.,,,,Final thoughts: Good price, but it isn't made to carry the weight of a 58ltrs of gear, and is pretty large to be a modest day pack,,... the "Idiot Savant 58"

Great pack with lots of useful features... good suspension and water resistant materials...I had the chance to try this pack out on a couple of recent hikes and as with most Gregory packs, it's a winner. The medium is a 58 L pack. I really like the roll-top style secure top. It also has a nice separate water bladder compartment. The balance and comfort were very good. The only negative I have is with the water bottle pockets, but it's minor. See my complete review at:,,www.backpackersreview.com/,,

VERY GOODuse it from the mountain climbing of the night to the mountain climbing of 3 days.,,I am lighter than other brands of the same size and think that the functionality is superior again. In addition, it feels Gregory to just fit a back.
