The Gregory Men's Zulu 55L Pack is a light hiking pack for short weekends and paring down to the essentials for a week on foot. Whether you're solo or with a hiking partner or two, you don't always have to load up to the gills to make a trip enjoyable. The 55L offers enough space for the gear and food needed on a weekend, but if you trim the extras or pile in ultralight gear you can make it work for a week. The pack still offers a whole bunch of features, from the removable top pocket to a bottom sleeping bag zipper, even spots to lash gear to the exterior of the pack. Great bag!I was between this bag and the the Osprey Atmos 50 AG. I purchased both, but only took the Osprey on a trip with me. 15 miles through some moderately difficult terrain. I was miserable. It pulled on my shoulder the whole time! Unfortunately, that model of Osprey bag just isn't for me. This bag however, carries better, weighs less, has more features! I love it! Worth every penny! I've loaded this up with right around 30lbs and it carry's like a dream. The suspended mesh back panel is taught enough to actually hold the bag off your back and keep it from getting to sweaty. I like the one mesh hip belt picket and one solid fabric pocket. Lot of compression options as well!
