"Parks & Recreation" 01/08/11
For a day tripping bag this is built with really nice material. When the weather is nice I prefer to get out to run/walk/bike some trails at a nearby park with my wife. We toss a couple towels, sunscreen, water bottles, snacks, books and hit the trail. You see when we come out the other side there is a quiet beach we like to relax at. This pack holds everything for the both of us for an entire afternoon. It allows to stay organized and for me to be comfortable while hauling the gear. I had so much confidence in the pack I wore it in a geocaching competition around Mt. Bachelor.
"Very good pack, many uses..." 09/30/10
It's a good pack that can be used for small hiking/overnight trips, and weekend travel in cities, or without much gear. It's small, but comfortable because of that. The only potential problem is that it's a bit tough to find the perfect weight balance when packed full, small stuff though, really, because it's just a bit more work. Certainly possible, though. The computer slot and the size/durability make this a great pack to travel with on small trips in cities as well. I use it as my weekend pack when traveling around Japan. This is a very good pack, it can fit everything you need for a day trip or overnight. I hiked Mt. Fuji with this pack and loved it!
