"Great all around pack for the money" 01/29/13

After spending a lot of time looking for a pack that fit my frame (6'3" 150 lbs) I finally settled on the Baltoro 65. While I fall in between a M and a L the adjustability of this pack allows for a perfect fit. Having taken the pack out for a few short day trips, the capacity is great for packing gear for a 1-3 day trip, but you may want to size up for anything longer.

"Awesome Backpack" 11/25/12

After 7 day hiking trip my back is not sore, my hips have no bruises and my shoulders are in great shape. The suspension system works a treat, I could feel the pack wobbling away but the shoulder and hip straps remained stationary on my body and the weight of the pack distributed evenly on my hips. My sleeping bag fitted nicely into the bottom section of the pack and the small pouches all over the pack were very handy. It looks great after 7 hard days in the scrub. The squeaking some people have noticed didn't bother me at all. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone up for a hiking trip.

"Awesome Pack" 08/13/12

I have had this pack for a couple of years and I think it is awesome. First and best - it is so comfortable. I've hiked 10+ miles with about 40 pounds and the pack felt great. Second - the size is great for me. I can easily fit all of my gear in the pack and I am by no means a light packer. Third - I really like the extra pockets. They allow me to easily organize all my small stuff and have things like my rain jacket readily accessible. I only have two beefs with the pack - my water bottle will sometimes come out of one of the side pockets. And my pack did not come with a rain cover.

"Don't Leave Home Without It" 03/08/12

Gregory has a history of making quality products, and the Baltoro 65 is no exception. I took this thing on a weeklong trek in the Porcupine Mountains, and it was everything I hoped for and more.It won't fool anyone into being an ultralite backpack, but in backpacking comfort is key, and the comfort this thing provides is exceptional. I had it fully loaded and after a long day of hiking still could barely feel it on my back. This thing is well engineered, thoughtfully constructed, and has enough compartments and pockets to pack just about anything you'll need. And it's built to last. I've brought mine on a couple of years worth of backpacking trips by now, and it's still going strong.

"Perfection" 02/23/12

Great bag for a week-plus trip. Lots of pockets and there locations are very practical. Very comfortable and you can make it fit like a glove. I've only used it three times so I can't comment on the durability but from what I've heard, Gregory makes bags that last. Awesome product!

"Fantastic Pack" 12/05/11

This pack got me through all summer in Wyoming and is still going as strong as the day I got it. It distributes weight very well and stays comfortable on even the longest of hikes. Also the detachable summit bag it a nice touch and works well. An Osprey 3L hydration bladder fits perfectly and is a very nice touch. Not to mention the red bag looks great!

"Great Up Grade" 09/28/11

I bought this pack a month ago and love it! I've been on 2 backpacking trips (weekenders) and cant complain a bit. I think that my favorite parts of the bag are the traction part (lumbar portion) of the hip belt and the hydration clip on the sternum buckle. the weight is distributed very well and rides where it should, on your hips, not your shoulders. I would reccomend this pack to a troll, wait...yeah I would.

"Fits like a glove" 07/27/11

This pack is by far the the best pack I've owned. I bought this pack after trying on several different at our local store. I tried on an osprey, Arc'teryx, sierra, and go lite. This is by far the most comfortable pack out there. It fits snug to your back, the hip holsters are like small clouds holding your hips. Shoulder pads feel like an angel hugging you, it's pure awesome. I used this pack on several trips and was easily able to fit everything in there. I even had room to bring my big camera that I don't leave without. Don't look further. Get it!

"Best Of All Worlds" 05/02/11

What I love about this pack is that for a 65, it cinches down beautifully. But wait. There's more! The suspension system is awesome and it fits like a glove. I feel like I'm strapping on a light rocket pack. There are smartly placed pockets; the material is tough and IMHO, just the right weight for the toughness you want. I tried a bunch of packs (as you should) and liked this one the best, by far. I bought the rain cover (size Medium) and a Camelbak 3L and I'm ready to go. And Moosejaw done good, too! :)
