"Sturdy, light, compact."

This does exactly what it says - compresses and keeps your stuff dry. I use it for my sleeping bag and down vest. It compresses more than the original bag, weighs less, and adds water protection. I haven't tested it in full submersion for an extended period, but it certainly copes with spills and general moisture.

"Lightweight and waterproof"

I use this dry-sack for holding my sleeping bag when I'm kayaking and for winter-camping. It has done its job of keeping my down sleeping bag dry, so far.

"You could find a better dry sack by granite gear"

I have had many dry sacks this is not the best by any means it doesn't keep things completely dry and the rope straps are hard to use and to say the least they don't really work well at all.
