"Super light, saves weight, but be careful"

I was amazed at how light this is! I use it for my sleeping bag and down gear when I am UL hiking. It is a bit more expensive, but also EXTREMELY light weight. The only downside is that it seems flimsy. I know that cuben fiber is supposed to be really strong and some people even use it for their shelters and sleeping bag materials. but I am just worried. If you take care of your gear you should be fine though.
"Light. Very light. Really, very, astonishingly light."

One of your most basic responsibilities in the backcountry is keeping your insulation dry. If you're at all concerned about weight, you won't find a better choice for an UL drysack than these. I keep my 3-season down bag in a 10L, my down parka in a 7L, and my winter down bag in an 18L -- saving an eighth of a pound each versus the compression sacks I used to use.To be sure, cuben fiber isn't the most rugged stuff out there, and these need to be handled with some care; if you're looking for a knockaround drysack for kayaking or canoeing, I'd go with a thicker material. If you take decent care of your UL backpacking gear, though, you've just found your sleeping bag's new home.
