The Superior One Pack by Granite Gear. Designed and built to be the ultimate canoe-tripping packs and, prior to our Nimbus Great Northern, they were. The anatomically designed harness system and foam padded back panel hugs your body and puts the weight of the load close to your back and on your hips. Heavy-duty side lift handles and haul loop make lifting the pack out of the canoe and putting it on your back easy.

"The Superior One is the pack of choice for paddling trips from the Boundary Waters to the far North." 12/02/11
This summer, I traveled 1300 miles over 80 days by canoe and paddle. Our four man crew used nothing but Granite Gear packs and we loved them. The pack has an incredible amount of space and is one of the most durable packs on the market. For the price you cannot go wrong. At one point on the trip, we had these packs loaded down with over a hundred pounds of food. We had over forty pounds of peanut butter alone before starting Lake Winnipeg. The packs held up and was tough. We didn't break a strap or buckle over the entire eighty day trip. Durable, reliable, and perfect for any paddling trip.
