Rated 5 out of 5 by from Asome when i got my sleeping bag it came with two things a big bag for storege in the closet and a little stuff sack for storege in the feild. well last year i went hikeing in philmont new mexico, with my scout troop. my little stuff sack went to new mexico but it most definitly did not come back. this hadnt been a problem untill a couple weeks ago when i actualy needed more space in my pack(just stuffing my bag in the bottom compartment of my backback would nolonger do) so i went down to my local moosejaw and explaind my situation. the staff there convinced me to spend the extra ten dollars on the nifty sinchy squish the bag down as mush as possible thingys. long story short there asome, my sleep

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So useful I will get a variety of sizes I purchased three of the XL sized stuff sacks and they were extremely useful. When I went on a 5 day canoe trip with my girlfriend, I gave her one for her clothes and used one for my clothes. This way everything was kept separated, clean, and very compact. We used the third one for our two sleeping bags. We have 32 degree bags not backpacking friendly - not compact and they both fit snugly into the stuff sack before I cinched the straps down so that it was half the size. I had no problems with the quality of the sacks. They held up and showed no signs of wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Recommend product to others. I was looking for a sack to hold my sleeping bag for when I go camping and the guy who was with me was a total help in finding one for my sleeping bag. He took as much time as needed to find one for me and he even help me narrow the search for a sack for the right size. The only thing I don't like about this product is the straps along the side. They suck for when you try to use the thing as a pillow and they stick you in the head. Overall, I was impressed with the purchase and hope that it doesn't wear out anytime soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save space and organize. I've been using the granite gear round rock compression sacks for years due to their outstanding durability. After countless abuse on trips, they barely show any signs of wear and tear. I think that the weight difference between these and the new silicon impregnated versions (~1.5oz) by granite gear and other manufacturers is so negligible that the increased fabric strength is a much more critical component. You can also use the small version as a pillow by stuffing it with your cloths from the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock Solid Stuff Sack-essential for smart back-packing. Get the red medium! This Rock Solid Stuff Sack is the little powerhouse that my tent lives in when I'm not living in my 2 person tent. You can bang it around and it still lives and begs for more mistreatment! It exceeded my compression expectations. It just kept crunching smaller and smaller. Stuffed with my tent and compressed it takes up about as much room as my knee high boots all rolled up. You can stuff it with things other than tents of course! A minimalist's must have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! This compression sack is great. I used it to hold my clothes for a 2 week backpacking trip and I managed to fit everything in. After compression, it was roughly the size of a grapefruit, taking up almost no space at all. There is debate about whether it is more efficient to pack everything in a sack or to shove it into the cracks and crevices in a pack, but I prefer to have my clothes separated from the rest of my gear. This did a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beware, it does what they say it will do! Well finally, a stuff sack that does what they say it will do. I have an old, bulky sleeping bag that defies being placed in a stuff sack that does not take an hour to use. That is until this Round Rock Solid Stuff Sack appeared on the scene. Not only does the bag go into the sack but it does so in a relatively easy manner. All in all, a great idea that works just like they say it will. What a novelty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stuff sacks you can trust! Granite Gear stuff sacks are the most reliable on the market. I have been using them in every size available for a few years now and have never had a reason to question their quality. They show no signs of wear though I know I have put them through the ringer! They are prefect for backpackers and over-packers alike. Go ahead, put 10 lbs in a 5 lb bag! They can handle it!
