Does the job, very light, not for heavy, off-trail use.Bought this to go with my new GG Nimbus Meridian pack. Nothing complicated, just a somewhat shaped bit of sil-nylon. Kept the rain and snow off my pack, weighs nothing, packs down to pretty small package. The material is pretty light so I would skip the bushwhacking with this on, but didn't have any problems with normal trail hiking and use. Somewhat pricey for what it is, but still a nice piece of gear. Not as nice as my old Dana Design one that had a built in hood to keep water off the harness area of the pack--but that raincover weighed as much by itself as my new pack does. -

You need a pack coverI tried to go without for a long time, and then I got in the $hit without one. My stuff got soaked. I was freezing on a solo hike in Yosemite cursing myself for being such an idiot. Cloud cover rivals any pack cover on weight, and it does the job.

I would recomend this cover to anyone wanting to keep there pack dry.It is an awesome product. Very well made and seamless so less likely to leak. It is extremely strong. I tried to pull it, stretch it, or even tear it with no success. Couldn't ask for anything stronger and waterproof.

Great ProductThis is a great product. It was very lightweight and works great. It is easy to take on and off as well and is very durable. I used it for 19 days on the AT without a single problem.
