"You need a pack cover" 10/27/08
I tried to go without for a long time, and then I got in the $hit without one. My stuff got soaked. I was freezing on a solo hike in Yosemite cursing myself for being such an idiot. Cloud cover rivals any pack cover on weight, and it does the job.
"I would recomend this cover to anyone wanting to keep there pack dry." 10/04/07
It is an awesome product. Very well made and seamless so less likely to leak. It is extremely strong. I tried to pull it, stretch it, or even tear it with no success. Couldn't ask for anything stronger and waterproof.
"Does the job, very light, not for heavy, off-trail use." 06/20/07
Bought this to go with my new GG Nimbus Meridian pack. Nothing complicated, just a somewhat shaped bit of sil-nylon. Kept the rain and snow off my pack, weighs nothing, packs down to pretty small package. The material is pretty light so I would skip the bushwhacking with this on, but didn't have any problems with normal trail hiking and use. Somewhat pricey for what it is, but still a nice piece of gear. Not as nice as my old Dana Design one that had a built in hood to keep water off the harness area of the pack--but that raincover weighed as much by itself as my new pack does. -
