The Air Bag Stuff Sacks by Granite Gear may not deploy in case of a crash, but they will for sure help you keep your life together. If you want to stay organized without adding a lot of extra weight these are the ticket. You won't find any raw edges or sloppy stitching on our gear. What you will find is an ultralight stuff sack that is "finished" and built with the same attention to detail you’ve come to expect from Granite Gear. I am going to need about 15 of these to organize myself and the kids for this year's backpacking trip to Grand Teton National Park. Seriously.
DECENT FEATURES of the Granite Gear Air Bag Stuff Sacks
Just bought it and used it for the first time this week. You can fit a couple of light weight jackets in the 3 L size. Like another reviewer said, I like that the fabric for the bag is slick; it lets you stuff things in our pack more easily.
I've switched all of my stuff sacks to the air bags. These things are super light and strong. They are a little slick too, which helps when I am trying to slide them in or out of a tiny space in my backpack.
these stuff sacks are extremely lightweight yet very durable. great for organizing gear with. i purchased several sizes. i feel that the sizing is a bit smaller than expected. maybe size up. otherwise great stuff sack.
I currently own 7 of these sacks in various sizes. They are well-made, durable, water resistant, and very lightweight. I really like the oval shape since it seems to reduce the amount of extra air that can get trapped in the sack. The shape also makes them easier to stack and pack inside a backpack. So what to use these for? Anything! Everything! Stuff ‘em full! I use two size 4 (7.5L) sacks for my tent and rain fly; a pair of flip-flops (size 12) fit into a size 3 (5L) sack; size 2 (3.3L) is more than large enough for a rain jacket (or pants) or a 10L dromedary; size 1 (2.1L) is nice for water treatment stuff. These are very versatile and great to have around to help keep things organized.
"An above average stuff sack, the contours of the bag fit the pack very well."

An above average stuff sack, that conforms to the shape of your pack very nicely. The small size holds my international whisperlite and personal cooking pan set very nicely.
