Key Features of the Giro Bevel Snowboard Helmet:
  • Shell construction: In-mold shell construction which fuses the polycarbonate outer shell with the helmets impact absorbing foam liner for extra durability without excess weight.
  • In-Form Fit: Normally found only in Giro's top models, this headband adjustment allows you to dial in a comfortable fit and allows you to adjust for a headliner.
  • Liner: Uses a comfortable EPS liner for a comfortable fit.
  • Chin strap: Adjustable and padded with snap clip.
  • Earpads: The earpads are not removable and do not accept Giro's Tune-ups for audio. What do you expect at this price?
  • Ventilation: 8 passive vents allow great ventilation so you don't sweat and can be comfortable.
  • Goggle vent: The front vent directs the forward airflow down into the goggle to help with fog free vision.
  • Goggle notch: Built into the shell to keep the goggle strap in place along with a durable, easy to use rear goggle clip.
  • Safety: The Bevel helmet conforms to all ASTM F2040 and CE prEN1077 approved standards. Giro didn't cut any corners here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from affordable helmet that will keep your noggin safe and sound! I bought this helmet over before heading to A-basin for some vertical (and abnormally dry/icy) skiing! The first thing I noticed is how comfortable and secure this helmet sits on the head. At this price... it is a bargain and gets the job done! After a high-impact fall, I can attest to it's durability and reliability. I highly recommend this product at such a great price and durability. This particular model lives up to what you would expect from Giro. That being said, I gave this product four stars because it is noticeably bulkier than it's competitors (Scott...etc).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Helmet I bought this since it was on sale and I wanted to protect myself on my first snowboarding trip. Does exactly what it's supposed to. The clip on the back is good for keeping my goggle strap in place, the ear flaps keep my ears warm and the helmet has a system on the inside with a dial you can turn so the helmet conforms to your head better. It definitely protected my brain after falling a couple of times. If you're going snowboarding and are still a newbie, go with a helmet that protects without breaking the bank and get this one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm concussion free! Warm fit keeps the wind out. Soft padding and chin strap give a comfortable feel and won't rub your skin raw. Can get a few hours of slope time before you feel the weight around your neck. I can keep my Oakley goggle's on top and the rear clip will stop them from falling off. It's held up to some abuse, but we all know safety doesn't really matter. As long as you can look cool doing it, then this helmet is for you.
