Love these boots. I wear them hiking, backpacking, and working, and they have held up in a variety of weather conditions for two years, and still going strong. I have yet to apply a waterproofing agent, and my feet are still as dry as the day I bought them. Pretty lightweight, and good ankle support at a reasonable price. If you want a good all-around hiker and weekend backpacking boot, this is the pair for you.
The first hike was over 4000 ft. in elevation gain. Not a good choice to break in these boots. Major heel blisters. However, after breaking them in a little more carefully they have turned into a great pair of boots. They have great trail grip and repel water well.
I'm an avid outdoorsman, and a member of an elite military unit and have used these boots for both. Easily the most versatile and comfortable boot at a very reasonable price. Put them through the wringer and still held up!
These boots are the best! I use them for weekend hikes in the White Mountains and snowy walks through the city. Have had them for about 8 months and use them constantly. THey have held up well. Typically you see some separation between the rubber toe and the cloth show body with boots like these, but there hasn't been any problems yet. Great all around hiking boot.

These boots are by far the most comfortable pair that I have ever owned. It feels like I am just wearing an extra pair of socks. I have had them hiking all over the place and have yet to find somewhere I can't get in comfort.

These boots do not require a length time to break in before putting a load on your back and hitting the trail. Extremely comfortable even after several days of continuous wear. Fully waterproof! Garmont has a unique way of lacing their boots to allow for alignment with the bones of the feet offering an unparalleled level of comfort and confidence when you step! Vibram soles offered great wear life! Had mine for going on 3 seasons! Very warm in winter as well.
