The Vetta Hike GTX by Garmont is born from their famous "Vetta family" and adapted for trail use. Supportive full length, full width frame and PU perimeter midsole that is lightened with an EVA core and heel strike cushioning inserts. New Vibram Jabba sole with a true heel allows confident descents and positive self-cleaning traction on the ascents.

"Really nice boot." 05/23/11

Perfect fitting boot for a "low volume" foot, I had no heel slide/movement on the ascent, and no toe "jam" on the way down.... and I don't think they look funny, but if your looking at your feet your missing the view.

"very comfy, but odd looking..." 12/22/10

loved the way this boot feels, it's very comfortable and light. it fits a bit small. the tongue is very thick, and when you do the boot up and look down, it just has a strange look. the sides of the boot don't come together very closely, so the tongue looks wide. should be great for hiking, but you're not going to win any fashion points...
