"Great for Baked Goods" 05/16/11

Regardless of its merit as a camping knife, these knives are great for a particular at-home use. Unlike metal knives, which will scratch non-stick and stainless steel baking pans, these knives will not. They are perfect for that use, with their pointy tips, serrated edges, and deep blade design. These are shaped similarly, and are just as sturdy, as the specialty knives sold at kitchenwares stores for this purpose, but are much less expensive. I bought several of these, to use for cutting up cakes, pies, brownies, etc. in my expensive stainless steel pans that I don’t want to scratch, and they work wonderfully, even on overbaked gluten-free brownies (the way I like them).

I bought several of these to use for cutting cakes, pies, brownies, etc. in my expensive stainless steel baking pans that I don't want to scratch.The design of these knives is perfect for that use, with the serrated edge and the deep knife blade. They are shaped similarly to the knives for this purpose sold at kitchenwares stores and are just as sturdy, but are less expensive, and seem to work even better. They can even handle overbaked gluten-free brownies (the way I like them).

"Cheap and it Shows." 11/28/10

Got these in a grab pack from a local store. Def cheap and see why they were giving them away. Broke after the first time. Ditch it and bring your pocket knife if you don't want to be stuck eating with your fingers.

"ehhhh its just ok" 08/27/09

this isn't that great at all, now I realize why it only costs 75 cents. I used it three times and it has already broken just from cutting chicken. you might as well just use a clean legit pocket knife.
