The Men's Hector Jacket by Foursquare is a member of the heater series that joins stock insulation with a storm proof shell to conserve heat. Filled with warm, puffy down or low-bulk synthetic loft, they take the edge off when the air is bitterly cold. Pulled on alone, they turn up the heat during early morning laps, mountain town winters or dark walks back to the condo. Winter is good, but being cold is not.

"The Hector Jacket is the Best snowboarding Jacket I Have ever owned!!" 09/21/08
I have had multiple jackets from Foursquare and Special Blend, but this one is a the best I have ever owned! I have never been cold while wearing this jacket even in the worst weather in Northern Michigan. A really nice feature is the vent on the back of the jacket that goes from wrist to wrist across the whole upper back plus it has pit zips. Love the color, I got the dark blue and its almost black. Hand warming pockets, and a dozen other pockets all over inside and out. Great Jacket, I would recommend this Foursquare jacket to anyone looking for a bombproof snowboarding jacket!
"Warm, cool, a great all-around winter jacket" 02/20/08
My son loves his new jacket, especially the curly lining and multitude of pockets. While he's not so much a style guy, his friends esp. the girls have let him know it looks pretty great, too. It keeps him plenty warm without being overwhelmingly bulky. And best of all, according to him, it's not slick and noisy like so many insulated/winter jackets. Looks like I hit a home run in the cool-mom department this time, which is a nice side benefit.

Bought this for my boyfriend, he needed something super warm and something he could wear for outdoor winter sports. This jacket fit the bill. Moosejaw was also super cool with exchanges when the large I got him didn't fit.

Just got the new Hector jacket, and it ROCKS!!! I have previously owned both foursquare and specialblend jackets and this one puts all my old jackets to shame. Its super warm, waterproof, comfortable, powderskirt, has tons of pockets and vents everywhere. I just took a trip up to Mt. Bohemia and it proved itself with ease in the fresh pow.
"Color issues, but good jacket overall." 02/20/07
First and foremost, I would like to say that the color "black" is not actually black. It's actually a dark brown. Go to the official Foursquare website and look up the color "ivy." Moosejaw sells these "ivy" colored jackets as "black" jackets. When I first bought one, I was puzzled since I ordered a "black" jacket, but received a dark brown one. I exchanged it for a new one, but lo and behold, it's the same color as before! (which is dark brown)<BR><BR>Other than the color issue, the jacket keeps me toasty in 20 degree weather. Sometimes the little velcro strips that seal the handwarmer pockets together are a little annoying since they block direct entrance to the pockets. It's a pretty sha
