What you see is AWESOMELightweight, really does hold that much water... took it out on a 4-day trip in Pike Nat'l Forest near the Colorado Trail, leading an 11-person group of 10 year old kids. Was great to carry water from creeks to treat for the group and kept me from having to run water in small batches. With the Aquamira we were using, 7min a batch, for 3L/person for 11people = a lot of time saved.,,,,The material is durable- a friend doubted how much water it could hold and threw a full 15L at me; the bag rolled about 50ft down the slope and was perfectly fine.,,,,If you care about counting ounces and trail space, it's light enough to merit bringing if you're with a large group, but not worth bringing if y'all use less than say, 8L at any one time. It rolls up small enough, a little larger than a Pocket Rocket.,,,,The only serious downside I had with the water bag is the velcro closure- not watertight. Not good for holding water in a pack- you get a very wet pack.
