Being a True Blue American I am somewhat frustrated that I had to buy a Swedish product to have the best darn hiking pants available. Oh yeah they will cost you some ducketts, but what the hey, everything in my backpack is expensive gear, at least by my budget. I do a lot of snowshoeing, winter hiking, and high country adventures in Northern Rookies, these britches really help me stave off the elements. Plus when things start to warm up I just unzip the upper and lower sections of the legs to vent the excess heat. The only drawback I have found is ordering the right size. I had to return my first order to get a smaller size. I would suggest that you use the sizing guide and then average the upper and lower numbers on your size scale to find your size. I ordered the 48 which is actually a size 32 U.S., Great fit and oh how comfortable. I think they fit better than an old girlfriend.
just got these pants in the mail today, and they are exactly what i have been searching for. i plan to use them for field work in the alaskan wilderness, and i know they will hold up to the test to be flexable and water resistant.
