"Good gym/mellow shoe" 12/13/10
I've had these shoes for a while and they're good shoes. Fun for just general climbing, slab, and the gym. They're definitely not aggressive, and would make a great beginner shoe. They're comfortable, even tight I can wear them for long periods of time. If you're just starting out, or want something a little more chill I would definitely recommend these.
"Great beginner's shoe!" 12/08/10
This was the first climbing shoe I got and it works great! I had previously climbed with the vibram five fingers and these were a great transition to actual shoes. They broke in pretty much within the first day of using them and I had little discomfort. They hold edges great and are a good color as well. As for sizing I'm usually a 6.5 and I bought a 5.5 and they fit great. A great, comfortable beginner's shoe.
"A versatile and surprisingly comfortable shoe" 06/07/09
This is my second pair of climbing shoes. They've served me well from bouldering to multi-pitching and are actually relatively comfortable for a climbing shoe. They didn't take long to break in and have held up pretty well through a year of climbing adventures.
"Very comfortable" 05/28/09
These are not my first pair of climbing shoes and I didn't think I could ever actually love climbing shoes. Climbing shoes always seem to be tight and a means to climb hard, but not comfortable, but these are. They didn't take very long to break in and they have great edges, great rubber, and are pretty breathable. The only downside is the way the shoe laces. It can be strange lacing them and the shoes came with two sets of laces, one elasticy set and a regular set that are too long. But I would definitely recommend them as long as you're not in a hurry to get them on at the crag.
