Built on a women's last, the leather Women's Guide Tennie is the guide's choice for terrain that blends walking and climbing. mostly really goodThis is a very comfortable shoe, good for wide feet.,,Fine for everyday wear, but lacks much arch support.,,VERY slippery on wet concrete (such as the polished stone floor at the pub where I work -- nearly wiped out a few times so stopped wearing them there), but noticeably tacky to wet pavement.,,Good for uneven terrain and for traversing through various conditions. Nice leather upper, but soles are marking on all floors.,,For what it's worth, it also looks cool.

Perfection..I have two pairs of approach shoes. This pair is wonderful for long approaches and I've even climbed a few mid-grade pitches in them. They fit a bit big on me but I like the room for thick socks on cold days. The materials are durable and the shoe itself is well made. Only way I'll need a new pair is when the sticky rubber runs down.

Good all-round approach shoe that can be used on walls tooThis is my second pair of Five Ten Women's Guide Tennie. I've used it for big-wall climbing and approaches to climbs. Great all-round shoe, w/ stick rubber for sketchy approaches. ,,,,Sole is not super-stiff, but that is a small sacrifice for the comfort of these shoes.
