This is my second pair of Five Ten Women's Guide Tennie. I've used it for big-wall climbing and approaches to climbs. Great all-round shoe, w/ stick rubber for sketchy approaches. Sole is not super-stiff, but that is a small sacrifice for the comfort of these shoes.
This is a very comfortable shoe, good for wide feet.Fine for everyday wear, but lacks much arch support.VERY slippery on wet concrete (such as the polished stone floor at the pub where I work -- nearly wiped out a few times so stopped wearing them there), but noticeably tacky to wet pavement.Good for uneven terrain and for traversing through various conditions. Nice leather upper, but soles are marking on all floors.For what it's worth, it also looks cool.
