"Another great precision offering from Five Ten!" 07/22/12

I just took these shoes out for their inaugural climb, and I have to say I'm impressed. It goes without saying that Five Ten has super sticky rubber. The heel and toe hooks were phenomenal; I had zero slippage inside the shoe. The edging, of course, was really solid, and I felt solid on tiny little nubbins footholds.The toe box is a little harder on my smallest two toes, but I suppose that means more power is going to the point of the shoe, so I'll just have to toughen up. For my slender feet I have to really tighten up on the Velcro strap to make the top of the shoe feel tight enough. Finally the heel cup is solid for me, but that is more of an individual thing.

Need a sharp edge and a powerful precise toe? The Team brings all the above to destroy your project or your onsight/ flash attempt! The Teams toe and heel hooking ability is also phenomenal! Oh I almost forgot to mention that the Stealth mystique rubber on this shoe is the stickiest rubber available!

"Need some help pulling off that bicycle move off on your roof proj, these are your bad boys!" 01/12/12

While sizing is the same as a street shoe which put me off at first, these shoes are surprisingly snug. They are very aggressive and super sensitive, you wont want to get caught climbing slab in these babies, but for past vert they are great.

"I had an unfortunate experience" 10/28/11

I pretty much only climb in five ten shoes. These were bad, the sizing was wrong, the toe box was riddled with seams that put hot spots all over my toes. you know a standard bouldering shoe experience. minus the heel cup which for me with my foot was awful, it bent and deformed with when hooking giving a awful experience when bouldering in these shoes. the sizing IS TIGHT size up two sizes from your street shoes, i usually wear a 10-10.5 and had to buy a 11.5 and it still hurt the whole time. if they fit you they are probably amazing...

"The best agressively downturned shoe out there." 10/12/11

The teams are fantastic for steep sport climbs and bouldering. They also have a great heal that doesn't move and the rubber on the top of the toes comes up nice and high to help with toe hooks. These shoes have replaced the jet7 for me. I find them more comfortable and the sole is thinner, providing a more precise feel than the jets. I fit mine tight enough so that the heal stays on, but they're comfortable enough for longer sport routes.
