Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bike shoes...with an awesome range of sizes for ladies too! I've had a hard time finding suitable bike shoes that fit my small women's feet. (One foot is a 5 1/2 and the other foot is a 6.) When I saw these online I thought I'd take a chance since they were the only ones I could find in my size that weren't too high, too bulky or too hot. And voila...they fit perfect!! (I ordered a size 4.5.) They are super comfy right out of the box and stick amazingly to my pedals. I know lots of guys who have these shoes and they seem to last forever so I'm excited about them all round. Sadly, they didn't come in the turquoise blue (I got grey) but when they become available I'm totally buying a second pair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a fine fine shoe Everything I hoped for. The shoe stays on my pedals without having to worry about sliding off. Which for most bikeriders, is a good thing. Looks good. And most of all, protects the bottoms of my feet from coming into contact with the cold cold ground. If these last for 10 or so years, thereby proving their longevity, I would probably be inclined to purchase another pair. And now, because I have written this review, I hope to be thrown into the queu to be eligible to win the million dollar shopping spree at Moosejaw, Bed Bath and Wayoutthere, and Harbor Freight (or wherever it was that I bought these things from.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid riding shoe, worthless insole I've had these for a few months now, I ride fixed and trails with them, I hike in them, they're sticky, supportive, a great approach shoe if tied snugly enough. All sorts of positive comments on the color, would definitely recommend to a friend. I replaced the insole with some green super feet, which made a noticeable difference over the included bare minimum insole. Good build quality, nothing coming apart, the shoelaces will melt if you drop hot coals on them, however. Get em, wear em, go be rad with the power of 5.10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for biking I bought these to use when cycling on my Jamis bike which has platform pedals. My existing shoes slipped too much. The 5-10's do not slip at all; one must actually lift the foot to change positions on the pedal. They are also stiffer than my previous shoes and have increased my speed due to a better power transfer. Size runs a bit on the small end - I wear a 12 Converse and took a 13 in these. Perhaps when the padding compresses over time, I will have to add an insert but I have one thumb between my toe and the shoe end right now. They are bit on the heavy side but that probably accounts for the stiffness. They are fine for walking around when off the bike, very comfortable. The sole is a bit soft so it can be sticky so I don't think I will use them just for walking around; I'll save them for bike days. As for appearance, I got the simple brown and they are very nice looking shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Best MTB shoes I have ever worn (and I have had Fiveten Impacts and Teva Links). Just the right combination of grip and comfort. I ride with RaceFace Atlas pedals, and I am on like I am clipped in, but I can still reposition my foot. Comfortable enough to wear everyday, and they breath much better (and are lighter) than my old Impacts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome MTB shoe! I purchased the Five Ten Freeriders on the advice of a friend and could not be happier. I was previously wearing standard walking shoes and the tread would not cling to the pedal screws. The flat rubber sole on these Freeriders clings to the pedal, but I can easily place my foot on the ground when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid shoe I have logged several hundred miles now with these shoes and love em. I have Easton pedals and the only way to move these shoes is to lift them off the pedal otherwise they are stuck! Well made. Only down side is the laces are so long they have to be tied three times to keep them out of the sprockets
