"Incredible shoes"
          08/21/09
These shoes have been my favorites for years. I love that they are velcro, which makes it easy to get on and off when you're just doing single pitch stuff, and the toe box fits perfectly around all of your toes, unlike most evolve shoes. My only real complaint: These shoes fit terribly in the heal, and heal hooking in these is not really an option. I've never known anyone who's anasazi's DIDN'T have a loose heal. I don't understand that. Maybe the women's version would be better about that. Overall: Great shoe. I'm going to try out the LS miura's for a while now just because of the loose heal, but the anasazi is always a reliable choice!

"Great shoe for this price snap it up!"
          08/08/09
I have climbed, or bouldered every second day for a half a year in these and havent had any issues! The Rubber on the bottom seems to last forever, it still looks like it has another 6 months easy in it. . Great in all areas of climbing footwork, and a nice pointed toe. They have hardly stretched lengthwise, but have stretched width ways a small amount. My feet are a quite narrow, with a medium arch and i have long toes( my 1st and 2nd toe are longer then my thumb toe :P) so maybe with a wider foot you would find them even better at edgeing. Just be sure to drop a couple of ordor eaters in them :)

"Great shoe, super sticky!"
          06/25/09
I wear a size in most casual shoes, 8.5 in running shoes an I got 8.5 in these Anasazi velcros. They fit great after a month or two of climbing in them depending on how much you climb and how much you sweat in them. Took me about two months to break em in climbing 2-3 times a week on average.

"This is a fantastic shoe for any type of climbing. It could be the best climbing shoe, ever."
          06/10/09
This shoe is fantastic. Depending on how you size it, you can use this for any type of climbing. I boulder in it, and have great things to say. There are a few issues I have had, though. Firstly, I have found that the Onyx rubber is stiffer than the C4 rubber. This is good and bad. It is bad because I have yet to be satisfied with the sensitivity of this shoe. On the other hand, it is good because it makes edging much easier. The new heal design is awesome as well; very aggressive, if sized right. I am very happy with this shoe, and would (and do) recommend it to all types of climbers.

"Fits like a glove, moderately aggressive toe and tons of stick"
          05/15/09
I upgraded from the red Five Ten Moccasym slipper that most all beginners have (Also great shoe, super comfy). The heels on these fit much snugger for heel hooks yet didn't stress out my Achilles tendon like other shoes I tried on. The toe is just aggressive enough to allow you to really crank the pressure up to 11 on the tiniest of chips yet not killing all circulation and feeling. We all like sensitivity, right? The rubber is grippy enough for my taste. The straps are quick to adjust (never had laces, I might not ever after these) and you can vary the snugocity. Try them on to see if you love them.

"This is a climbing machine!"
          04/28/09
Have got my third pair of these. this should indicate that this shoe doesn't last, and is wasted with little use. This is not the case.. I just climb so much in it. Use it mainly for bouldering and vertical to steep sportsclimbing. for long tradroutes i prefer a more comfortabel shoe (1 pitch trad is considert sportclimbing). The best piece of climbing rubber ever!

"A step down from the orignal vc 1 might as well go with Galileo and save 10 bucks."
          04/13/09
The rubber on this shoe is the same a the rubber on the Galileo.. Its heelcup is much looser and has significantly less rubber than on the previous model. For heel hooking I still use my old blown out pair. In addition the sizing has changed, it is looser by at least 1/2 size. The toe rand is peeling away from the shoe after only a few months. The old vc1 never had a problem with the toe rand even after three years climbing and one resole. They are still a decent shoe but seem to wear out quickly.

"If I could marry these shoes, I would"
          04/03/09
I love these shoes. The rubber sticks great. The straps stick out only the tiniest bit when they're on. The shoe fits my foot very, very well. I've never felt my foot slip inside these shoes, and they're also comfortable enough to wear for hours in the gym. Five Ten has won me over.

"A solid buy and even more worth it with the discounts"
          03/30/09
These shoes are great. If you are just starting out, like I am, I would highly recommend these. I go climbing 2-3 times a week and the tread is still just as sticky as the first climb. They are really comfortable if sized properly and sizing is pretty close to street shoe size. If anything you should get a 1/2 size smaller than your street shoe. My only complaint would be that velcro straps hang over the sole when they are tightened. I cut about an inch off the end of each strap and now they are perfect.
