Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes for that project I'll start by saying that these are not the most comfortable shoes, but why would you buy downturned shoes if you were looking for comfort? You buy them because you want extra gripping power on those small holds and overhanging routes. I highly recommend these as I do most Five Ten shoes. They seem to work well with narrow feet as do all the Anasazis. I wear between a 10 and 10.5 street shoe, and bought a 9.5 in these. They definitely run smaller than both my 9.5 Anasazi Verdes and Spires, probably due to the downturn. They are lined, but mine have stretched slightly after a short break-in period. Sized correctly, you will love these shoes for aggressive rock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoes for overhanging routes so i've been using the anasazi velcro for over 8 years and thought i'd try the Arrowheads for the more overhanging routes & bouldering. I've tried the extreme downturned shoes like the ones from Evolv & Sportiva, but i just couldn't get used to them. These are only slightly downturned & has the best edging toe (in my opinion) of any shoe. I'm a huge Five Ten shoe & Stealth/C4 rubber fan. Anyway these shoes are great. They took a few tries to get them on, i won't like they were a pain, but now they fit perfectly. i sized them the same size as my anasazi velcros; size 7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe I love this shoe but it is a really snug fit. If you have wide feet it may not be the best shoe for you. They do stretch so size down. I wear a 10-10.5 street shoe and I got a 9 and they fit great after they stretch out. The rubber is sticky but it's not the best shoe for smearing. It's great for edging and overhanging problems where you have to do a lot of heel and toe hooking. You can also rely on the heel not moving on a heel hook. It's a great shoe but it is a bit expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gem I love these shoes, and they serve me well for most climbing styles; but their greatest weakness is definitely cracks. I wear usually wear a 12 or 13 street shoe, and have these in a 13. It's a good, tight fit. I can keep them on for a few pitches without too much pain. However, if you're looking for a super-aggressive shoe, and don't mind pulling them off after every pitch/problem, you may want to size them down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Super sharp and soft but ultimately not very adaptable. These shoes are straight, super sharp and precise. Literally think about your toe being an arrowhead that stabs the rock. I found these most useful while climbing slightly overhanging routes with tiny feet and/or pockets that bigger toe boxes wouldn't fit into. These are also very soft and sensitive so i found them very useful while climbing trad and small cracks. basically these are good at twisting and jamming but its very painful.,,,,besides the super sensitive and precise performance, there's really not much support for any other part of the shoe. The heel is a bit baggy, the toe is pretty useless and they hurt when climbing anything close to vertical. There's no edge and they're not comfortable.,,,,The toe point really does perform well but these shoes are not as well rounded as I would have liked.,,,,I normally wear street 10/10.5 so I wore these on a 9. It was the right size but they weren't nearly as comfortable as my 8.5 tesatarossas, even after they broke in widthwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shoe This is great for steep terrain, as it has a pretty strongly downcurved toe. The toe is also nice and pointy for getting into pockets. The upper will stretch a bit to fit your foot, so after the first few uses it fits like a glove. The stealth rubber is also awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just got em and love em These are my second pair of shoes and they are tight! In both ways the fit is great! And they grip toe chips like glue. Very good shoe and worth every penny. I wear a 8 in sportivia but the 10 in 5.10 arrowhead. Heel hooks and toe jams are easy with the onyx rubber!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe These are a great pair of shoes. They run small (I got them in my street shoe, 12 and they fit just right). Nice downturn too. Only complaint is they didn't last me longer. Went through them in 5 months climbing 3-4 times per week.
