The Jet 7 by Five Ten, a new sport climbing and bouldering shoe, has a down-turned toe, a durable lightweight upper, and super-sticky Stealth HF soles. Jet 7’s “Green” Rubber (which is really black) is a proprietary recycled rubber for toe hooking. The lined, synthetic slipper has minimum stretch, and features an elastic, dual-flap closure with a single Velcro Brand strap for adjustability and power.

"Great shoe that is tight..." 		          10/28/09
My heel actually works in this shoe. Love the shoe, still painful after about 30min of use even though I have had them for months. My toes have started to break though the top, I guess from all my foot drag. Kinda wish there was more rubber on the top.

"great performance, weird fit" 		          04/22/09
The rubber is awesome and I love the downturn. Great for bouldering. They hurt really bad for me though. The fit is kinda weird though, it's really snug in the toe box but kinda loose and baggy around the top of the foot.

"Sticky and Powerful" 		          03/19/09
Took a while to get used to them, but they ended up being great. The down-turned toe makes them great on overhanging stuff and even on vertical and slab. Plus Having rubber on the toe made toe hooks always an option.

Really like this shoe, it offers a good toe-in and sweet heels (unlike most five tens!). the only thing wrong w/ the shoe is the upper could be a little more snug, so if you have extremely flat feet this mite not be the shoe for you.

Excellent pulling power on the steeps!!!! I have a pair of Scarpa Boosters. I like the heel a little bit better in the scarpas but the toe is better in the five tens. A small toe box makes them a little bit uncomfortable but also better for getting into those hard to reach places. Toe hooking is also awesome because the whole shoe is rubber. The shoe is a little hot for summer climbing but will be perfect for the winter.

"Fits like a ballet slipper, sticks like a suction cup" 		          07/10/08
I wanted to get a few climbs in before I rated this shoe. I first glance I was uncertain about the velcro system only one criss crossed velcro strip, but after climbing in the shoe I understood why. This slits in the heal rubber make me a little nervous about tears, but we will see how it holds up in the long run. The down turned toe and heal design will hold this shoe on your foot alone. I tried a few climbs with the velcro loose and the shoe did not move, even on smears and heal hooks. The rubber is sticky and all over this shoe. My big toes have bruises on the big knuckle from working against the rubber over the toes this could be solved with a little tape, but I'm sure the calluses will

Sticks well but like it is with all climbing shoes, if it doesn't fit your foot its not for you. My foot is more narrow and these seem to be for a wider set foot. I still deal with them.
