"Very comfortable shoe, not super aggressive" 		          12/09/09
Great shoe for extended gym sessions, etc. Full lace makes the shoe conform really well to your foot. I downsized 1 size (wear a 10, ordered a 9) and its a good snug fit (I'm not all that masochistic about my climbing shoes yet.)

"These Kicks Kick ASS!" 		          11/02/09
I went to REI and tried these kicks on and fell in love with them but not the price! Well MooseJaw has the best prices and incredible customer service so i just ordered them online! and now i climb 3x a week and love the comfort these 5.10's bring seriously you will love them along with MooseJaws customer service! "Definitely a Begginer Shoe" 		          05/18/09
The shoe has good grip for smearing but be careful on sizing. I wear a size 10 with the Five Ten Spire's and Mad Rock Phoenix's but the Coyote's needed to be a size 11 for me. In addition there was an empty space behind by heel. Thankfully Moosejaw has an awesome return policy.

"Comfy all around climbing shoe" 		          05/14/09
I use the Coyote as my big wall and all day shoe; basically if I'm climbing more than 10 pitches I want to be comfortable. I sized them up one full size larger than my normal climbing shoes and wear socks with them so I stay warm in the winter months on desert walls. Also, they may not perform as high as others, but the price is right and they are super durable.

"Comfortable, great shoe for beginner" 		          02/18/09
I just started climbing and I recommend these shoes. They fit snuggly but have a more rounded toe so you won't be screaming in pain after 10 minutes and give up. My feet are a bit wide for a female but the leather stretches and conforms to your feet so that helps with comfort. They do leave your feet red but no big deal.

"Great for TR but seriously lack any edging ability" 		          07/07/08
I bought these as my first shoe and they were wonderful. They broke in really fast, under a week. But now that I'm getting a lot better I find that these shoes can't keep up with me. And now that I've started slab climbing these shoes are struggling. They're great for TR when there's nice big footholds but once you get into more technical stuff these shoes hold you back.

I have used it only for indoor climbing and so far it's been great. I bought a size smaller and the fit was good. It was pretty comfortable for a rock shoe.

"Good for climbing bad 4 break dancing" 		          03/29/08
The Best climbing shoes I have ever owned also the first pair but still the best. I am new to climbing and also not into the Chinese foot binding fetish so for me ordering a half size smaller was good enough. Good quality shoe but next time I think Im going to go with Velcro.

"Cool Looking, Good Fit." 		          03/12/08
Very adjustable, and comfortable shoe. I bought this shoe for my significant other, and she seems to dig them significantly. They are comfortable to her feet and stick well, with the C4 rubber. With the lace-up type of shoe, you can keep the shoe tight to your foot while tailoring it to your specifics ie wide toes, narrow heel, narrow toes, cankles, 6th toe, etc.. The only... weird... thing about it is the red dye - it dyes your foot a little when you sweat. But that's just cool anyway. Two thumbs up.
