"Great long multipitch and all day boulder shoe" 10/11/07

Great shoe for bouldering and all day routes. Ive had these for 5 months now and theyre holding up great. The other reviewer may have had a problem because of incorrect fit? The last is pretty relaxed, theyre comfortable to be in on a long route, and the heels make for great landings when bouldering. I switched from Scarpa Spectros and I dont notice a significant loss of edging from the less agressive form.

"Not a bouldering shoe. Wears out quickly." 06/20/07

Rubber wore out too quickly gone after month & half of 2x / week gym climbing. The fit wasn't right had to really cinch down on velcro for shoe to be tight. Felt like my feet were tossing & turning in the shoe as I climbed. Toe rand rubber was weak for some reason - was peeling off after a month.

"You wont toss them in the corner!" 03/31/07

I bought these shoes three years ago at the factory in cali. I have climbed all over in these shoes and love them. I have 9 pairs of shoes and use these the most. They have been resoled three times and may get a fourth. Come payday I'm gunna buy a new pare for this great price.

"These shoes are awesome" 11/07/05

The Five ten ascent is the perfect rock climbing shoe, I am able to do so much more than I used to with a pair of Converse Allstars. They fit great, they shipped fast, and the work well!
