The Lace-Up by Five Ten has delivered climbers to the top of more 5.14s than any other shoe. The lined Cowdura synthetic upper fits like a glove; providing the same fit, climb after climb, as the day the shoe was born. Stealth C4 rubber soles offer extremely high friction and great sensitivity.
DECENT FEATURES of the Five Ten Anasazi Lace-Up Climbing Shoe
It took three different sizes to dial in the fit. The rubber over the big toe section comes so far up over the toe of the shoe that it prohibits much (bearable) knuckling of that toe. The heel bites into either side of the back part of my foot, but for the discomfort I get a very precise shoe. Its a good ace-in-the-hole shoe, but I wouldn't own it alone.
The Five Ten Anasazi Lace-Up is a great all round shoe !.This will be my second pair. There super comfortable, non aggressive shoe that work really well on slab to vertical walls. The stealth rubber lasts well and is super sticky.Get your self some !!!
I've been wearing these ferraris of footwear for the past several years. Occasionally I stray from these shoes but always find myself coming back. The sizing is a bit odd, I find myself wearing a half size larger than my street shoe, but it seems to work. I've been wearing these bad boys for everything steep sport, hard finger crack to wicked OW's. The heel cup is a little tight, meaning that it really sucks onto your foot and gets a little uncomfortable after a few pitches, but I still wear them on long routes if I expect difficult terrain. A great high performance all around shoe.
these are my comfy shoes. i fit these shoes to fit without to much pain and they have retained their fit throughout their life of 1.5 years. i use these shoes in the gym and outside on longer routes and they perform great in all situations. the stealth C4 rubber is amazingly sticky and long lasting making it the perfect rubber for climbing shoes. these shoes are stiff enough to edge but flexy enough to equal performance. the heel pocket is deep so it might not fit your heel right so try them on before buying themi would recommend these shoes to a friend
I use my 5.10 Anasazi's for the climbing gym but I use these bad boys for my outdoor multi-pitch climbing adventures. The laces offer a more tailored fit. I have a wider foot and the laces allow me to widen the toe area and tighten the top.
If you are climbing someplace like smith rock, tiny edges, little nubbins, crappy smedges. This is the rock boot for you. Super stiff, super comfortable, super precise, and super sticky. This shoe gets the job done.
"The heel sucks, they never fit right, but do kinda work."

I bought these shoes because I needed my first pair of aggressive shoes. Initially I was told they would hurt, but I never managed to break them in over the 6 months I wore them as my primary shoe. The heel never expanded to fit mine, and the toes ended up hurting too much. I didn't even downsize any from my spires (9 walking shoes, I bought size 8.5 in spires, then 8.5 also in these). I wore them enough to blow out the toe, only because I didn't know better. My next pair of shoes was the Testarossa's, which I dropped 2 full sizes on, and I'm never looking back. Don't get these if you have a tall or large ankle.
i bought my 1st pair of anasazi lace ups about 8 months ago and i just ordered my second pair. The 1st pair is still in good condition after 8 months of gym climbing 4-7 days a week. The rand is startin to come off a lil bit so im getting the second pair to climb with while i get the 1st pair re soled. They are very durable and perform great.
"This new version is almost as good as the earlier one"

I bought these to replace my wife's older pair of rose-colored Anasazis. These new ones have a slightly larger and reshaped heel. Depending upon your foot, that may be good, but for my wife it means there is now a little space at the very outside of her heel. She says it doesn't make them feel loose, but it could make heel-hooking a little less positive.
