Really heavy-duty and well made bag; slightly difficult to use.If you want a bag that will last you forever--Filson's your guy. The bag is so well made and heavy-duty. This bag will never split open on an airline, get a hole in it from your crazy 6 year old nephew's holiday antics, or break a strap. That being said, there's one thing that I find a little annoying about it--it's hard to get things in and out without scratching your hand on the industrial zipper and completely toppling your neatly stacked piles of clothing. I guess the problem is that the slit in the top of the bag is a little small, which means that the bag is a little difficult to see inside and place things in neatly. For that reason, I might go with a different product next time.

Rugged, Versatile SizeI originally bought this bag to use as my main carry on for short business trips. I went with the small size over the medium because I read people were being asked to check in their medium sized Filson duffles. I prefer a smaller carry on as it forces me to pack lighter and bring only the essentials. I've also used it for car camping and as my everyday gym bag. The bottom of the bag is just starting to gain some "patina" but all in all it still looks fairly new after owning it for about a year. I hear people can have these bags for 15 years or more.,,,,The only issue I have with this bag is that if it isn't completely full, it looks nothing like the photo representation of it. The side straps are attached to the bottom and slide through those side leather pieces. If you only have a couple of things in the bag, the straps slide up, and the side fabric of the bag scrunches down, which makes the bag look flat. Basically it doesn't keep it's cylindrical shape unless it's full.
