The Filson Men's Wool Jac-Shirt is a wool jacket that acts just like a shirt half of the time. Wear it out in the woods or out to dinner, maybe even work if you're feeling crazy. The 100% virgin wool is warm and durable and has plenty of room for layers, button up the front or wear it open. Go from regular shirt to a light jacket in mere moments, some days you may not even be sure which it is you're wearing.

Super Versatile jacketThis is the most versatile and used piece of clothing I have. Because its wool, it breaths and relates temperature well. It is surprisingly warm for how light it is, even though it is a heavy wool. You can dress it up or down with ease (I've worn it over a shirt and tie and with a tee shirt and jeans. The quality is such that it will be passed on to my son when I am long gone. It is my favorite piece of clothing.

Continuingly satisfying to wear and ownI remain pleased with this Jac-Shirt. Filson uses superior quality wool (and should do for the higher dollar buy in.) Every time I wear it - - I thank myself that I actually committed to get it. People recognize it's quality... directly. Numerous compliments received. The only detracting element is that I wish that it wasn't quite such a boxy cut. Ordered a M (I'm 5' 11" and 160) and fortunately the sleeve length works out fine in this more important respect with my longer arms. However, the chest must be on the order of 48". So, if anything it looks a little too full cut on my frame (40" chest, no gut.) No matter. That's never stopped me from loving it a lot. Whenever it's on... I'm always comfortable in the best way. Wool's unbeatable in that sense. I also own Filson's Wool Cape Coat. That too is first class. Unquestionably a lifetime piece that remains ever so satisfying and warm. Between the two I'm SET!
