"CHEAP QUALITY FOR HIGH PRICE" 08/24/09
I used this sleeping bag about 10 times, and repaired it about 15 times - it's made really cheap way, stitches open all over the bag so it looses the dawn, and my room looks like chicken farm, everytime I take it out of the bag. Also it's thermal insulation is very exgerated in the manufacturer's description. Realisticaly - you can use it clomfortably in the low 50's at the most. Also - lifetime warranty doesn't really work as moosejaw no orgear won't accept it back - they can repair it foer you - which I can do myself, as I was doing it from day one. It's just made very cheap. My recommendation - don't buy that product.
"DO NOT BUY THAT PRODUCT" 08/24/09
The worst piece of travel equipment I've ever had. Light weight is it's only advantage. First of all in upper 40's you're going to be half frozen. Second - this sleeping bag falls apart during first and every cosecutive use - the stitching is made very bad, so it opens and leak down all over hour tent, house, everywhere. You can buy a lot better bags in Wallmart for about $30, instead of spending $230 for a good brand name, with - in this case, unacceptable quality. Last thing - Moosejaw nor Orgear will not accept it back, so lifetime warranty is basically just a slogan and - I'm sorry, but A LIE! Strongly recomend - go and spend your money somewhere else.
"Not to shabby." 09/25/07
This purchase was totally based on Backpacker's recommendation and I was pretty happy with this bag on my trip to Algonquin last week. It kept me warm on 40's nights but I am skeptical as to how comfortable it will be when the lows only get into the 70's next summer. It stuffs small, is light weight like all downs but it could use a waterproof stuff sac. No stuff sac, what's the deal with that?
