These are the best undies on the planet for hiking, backpacking, climbing, rafting, etc. (trust me I've tried almost all of them). I've done most all of it and wear these things all the time. I wore one pair while rafting the Colorado river and never had an issue including smell. It removes sweat away from that region of the body efficiently without leaving an awful odor. They fit snug enough for protection but loose enough for comfort (a perfect combo)!Highly recommend these for any outdoor activity.
"5 day camp & hike 1 pair of Exofficio's"
Well I had to cash out my 401K to pay for this pair of underwear. Was it worth it? Ask me when I am 80. I went out hiking/camping for 5 days (85F day/45F night) and wore this one pair for the entire trip (even at night - never took them off.) I brought an extra pair in case of an emergency and surprisingly didn't need them. Not sure if I could go 30 days as advertised but they performed wonderfully for my trip. Comfortable, wicked away sweat and honestly at the end of the trip did the full blown bury my nose in the crotch smell test and was pleasantly surprised. I am 6'1", 190lbs of pure gristle and the XL's fit perfectly. FYI They keep the package nicely contained too.
I bought a couple of pairs of these for my boyfriend and he loves them. Wears them all the time and is amazed at how quick they dry when you wash them. Lightweight, durable, repel odour, good sizing, good fit. What more could you want?
These are pretty good overall, they do wick well, never retained sweat, but I cant say they remain odor free for days on days. I think after a few uses and washes they lost their anti-odor. Theyre also to me not as comfortable I would have expected. They run a bit big and I'll tell you why you need to go with a tight fit, they ride up my leg all the time and it gives rugburn into between my thighs. If you go a size down perhaps that'll alleviate that. I think I will go merino wool instead.
I lived 20 years of my life assuming that rashes and cotton boxers were a part of life...Until I discovered these. I have spent several thousand$$$ of dollars on camping gear in my life and when people ask me, this is hands down the best piece of gear I have ever purchased. The 2 best things about these boxers are the breathability, and the cut. With the way these boxers are cut there is plenty of room to let your jingles jangle and breath. No bunching up, dry ridiculously fast, clean easily, compresses in the right areas, odor killing, and feel great. Ever since discovering the Give-N-Go I have only worn one of the seven pairs I own everyday for the past 2 years.
The most important gear I own. These are super quality, dry fast, and most important keep the Staaaaank @ bay! Really soft material, the breath-ability and support is great. I had a couple pair last for years and have been from Africa to the Sierra's and back. Premium stuff for the serious adventurer!
For the longest time I never really put stock in any "fancy" or expensive underwear. But, as I was preparing for a trip into Africa I decided to give these a shot. And they are amazing. They are really comfortable and breathable as well as very quick and easy to wash and dry. I would definitely recommend getting these if you are looking for some underwear above and beyond the call of duty.
These are pretty good. They breath well, they look pretty good, and their decently light. After wearing a few times though I have noticed that they start to pill up in between your legs where they would tend to rub together. They also tend to kind of loose their "anti-smell" treatment after a few washes. When I first got them I could wear them for 3 days straight and they smelled fine. last trip I wore them for 3 days, then washed them in a stream and they still smelled a bit after.Get wool, it's a little more expensive, but it lasts longer, feels more natural, and keeps it's anti fungal properties better.
"Who would have thought I would ever write a review about underwear!!!"
Wanted some boxer-briefs that were light weight and quick to dry and these certainly fit the bill. Got a great deal at Moosejaw. I have a 38" waist and the Large fit well, good in the wait and snug in the legs. Just like I like my undies to fit. They are easy to hand wash and and dry quickly. I bought five pairs which accounding to Ex Officio should mean I probably have enough underwear to visit the all the countries in the world.
I was pretty skeptical about paying 25 bucks for a single pair of undies, but these are so much more than that. They feel great and fit great. I like the boxer briefs for extended periods of activity and have seriously put them to the test.I wear them everyday. I have 8 pairs and they are awesome!Go Get You Some!
I got these for my boyfriend because he has a pair that he has had for years and they still work so great that he wanted more. He says that they are the best sweat-wicking boxers ever- he wears them working out, running, and playing sports- and this guy sweats A LOT. They never get that smelly sweat smell that other compression shorts/ etc. do. They are cheaper than a lot of the other compression shorts- and work way better for sweat wicking. They aren't tight spandex material though- so if you are looking for something that really holds your man goods in place, they might not be exactly what you're looking for- but according to my boyfriend- they make his balls feel the best!
