I bought this for my buddys young child that we are trying to teach to backpack. He gets a little scared at night so i thought putting them around my hammock or his tent would help give him a little confidence while on the mountain. I was right!!! 72 hours off of 2 double a batteries. Thats good for at least 4 day trips!!! light weight, so i dont have to worry about the extra ounces in my pack. nice and bright does its job. if your trying to teach your young children to enjoy roughing it out of a pack or tent but they tend to get frightened at night when the fire dies down, this is a must have.
These lights will add a nice glow to any tent, campsite or hammock! They are bright, but not too bright. Very light, and very compact, packing down to the size of a large candybar. These LED lights are well worth the cost. LOVE THEM. Great for any camping situation.
"The "ENO" sticker on the product is not worth the extra money."

I LOVE my hammock, but the lights are dinky, as in cheaply made. The battery case is not made to be outdoors and the batter cover pops off all the time. Do yourself a favor and buy LED battery lights on Amazon.com for under $5. I love Moosejaw and ENO, but I was very disappointed in this product.
"A fun (if luxurious) addition to your campsite"

These little lights are pretty bright and can really liven up your campsite. In addition to setting a festive scene, they also can be really helpful. We hung them around the entrance to our campsite, making it easy to find one's way home after running a nighttime errand. Another night, we draped them on the inside of our tent, which not only provided a great deal of light, but was really pretty too. If you're an ultraliter, these lights might seem like a silly luxury, but if you're car camping or you've got a few square inches to spare in your pack, it's fun to take them along.
