Rated 3 out of 5 by from These get your ENO hammock set up real quick-like. The Slap Strap Pro's do exactly what they claim; they make setting up your hammock a breeze. Unfortunately, they suffer from two major problems. First, the loops that you attach your hammock to are way too far apart. Seems fairly common for one loop to put too much slack in your hammock, but not be able to get the hammock through the next tighter loop. Secondly, these guys stretch a ton. They stretch a lot with just me in my DoubleNest, but they are like rubber bands when me and my fiancée both get in. I am 175lbs and my fiancee is 115lbs, and 280 lbs is well under the claimed 400lbs maximum. I will probably be looking into other hammock hanging systems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An ABSOLUTE must! I got these for my singlenest. Sure you could use rope, but these make for putting the hammoch up in less than a minute. Seriously that fast! I hung mine up across the living room and been sleeping in it every night since. Its so fast to put up and take down with the slap straps that I put it away every morning. I have also used them to slap a tree and use my car as the other anchor point for hanging outside. Their adjustment points made it a cinch to put up in no time at all! Stationary point you say and leaving it up? Still worth it. Reading and let it hang lower, tighten it up for a more comfortable nap! Get some, you will be glad you did!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for the ENO hammock. In all honesty, this should be sold as a bundle with the ENO hammocks. I've never seen a spot I could have set up my hammock without these little guys. They essentially turn any two, sturdy objects into the perfect hammock retreat. The straps have numerous loops that provide enough choices to hook into for virtually any situation.,, They are incredibly simple to put into place, feel very sturdy, & pack nice and small just like the hammock they are designed to accessorize. Without a doubt, if you order an ENO hammock, these should be in the same purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Easy to use These straps are extremely easy to use, setup is literally seconds. You simply wrap it around a tree, put one end through a loop, and your done! One cool feature is the 6 different loops you can hang your hammock from. This makes it very easy to hang your hammock at the right length. I love these tree straps because of how easy they are to setup/tear down. Now my hammock can easily go with me on camping trips! I even set this thing up in my backyard. If there is a down-side it might be the weight limit (400 lbs). So this might not be the right solution if you're having a party on the hammock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome purchase This product is awesome and it took maybe 2 mins to set up the hammock. Super quick and easy. Only complaint is that there aren't enough loops higher up on the strap so it needed to be looped around the tree more to make it snug,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple & Effective I use these with my single nest - and what they do well is get you hanging fast. They are long enough that you really don't have to worry about "not finding trees close enough." You can be relaxing within 60 secs. So for casual use, I highly recommend. If you are looking to hammock "camp" I would recommend a suspension system you can more easily "dial in." For an all night "sleep" hang - these have a bit too much sag and the spacing between loops may require repetitive adjustment. ,,So... Casual - highly recommend. Backpacking - works, but not as well as other systems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still Holding Strong After All These Years! I have used my Slap Straps with my DoubleNest Hammock at least 4 times a year for the last 5 years (20ish uses total) and I have yet to run into any trouble with them. They are a breeze to set up/take down and I have never experienced slippage (I do make a point to wrench on the straps pretty hard prior to clipping in the hammock and always look for a branch to wrap the straps over for extra support). All of my experience has been in pretty low-key conditions i.e. low to the ground in decent weather, but I feel these could stand up to some harsh conditions if need be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hate to disagree with a fellow moosejaw-er These guys seemed to really come in handy for me. I'm not a climber so i dont have my own rope to hold me up, and i couldnt find any 230lb test fishing line. As for the d-rings, the hammock comes with them built in so i'm not sure about the issue there. and if it broke why not just send it back and get a new one along with some more free stuff? i mean i literally jumped into mine the first time i got it, and nothing happened. i'm actually considering buying some more of these in case i find two trees that are really far apart. that might be kinda nifty.
