Moosejaw Staff Pick "When the Eagles Nest DoubleNest Hammock isn't hanging out in my backyard, I take it on all my spring and summer camping trips. The DoubleNest is way more comfortable than lying in a tent, and super easy to set up. I definitely recommend the insect screen though. Bugs suck." Matt - Moosejaw Secret Headquarters
Moosejaw Staff Pick "Earlier this summer I went on a bachelor party camping trip, and though it was great time, our group of 8 were heavily burdened by the tents we were taking. No Hubba Hubbas here. I'm talking large 6-man domes that were so old that we needed to bring extra blue tarps in case of inclement weather. Granted, we could've saved ourselves some trouble by not insisting that we bring three, but carrying just one of those beasts for a few miles will turn your arms to rubber. It was on the hike back to the cars that I decided to invest in ENO. My next trip was completely different.
The Eagles Nest Outfitters double-nest with slap-straps and fast-fly rainshield are awesome. I also have the mosquito net, though I haven't had to use it yet. All the pieces together weigh about 5 lbs, and everything is phenomenally compressible so I was able to fit and/or lash everything to my pack. NO RUBBER ARMS! Setup is as easy as finding two trees, and the slap straps provide extra feet to allow more options for lashing up the hammock. The Double Nest is really big enough for two, but you have to really like each other (really). The rain fly provides great cover and since the hammock is off the ground, there is plenty of dry ground underneath the fly for cooking or storing your pack. Get the ENO system and never worry about helping people carry their dumb tents again." Matthew - Moosejaw Secret Headquarters
The DoubleNest hammock by Eagle Nest makes you want to snuggle. With two-feet of extra width than the SingleNest, the DoubleNest allows room for one, two, three, or however you decide to pack 400lbs. The DoubleNest seats more than one person comfortably and is essential for family adventures. The DoubleNest still packs down to the size of a grapefruit, so there is no excuse to be without your ENO hammock.

I literally take this hammock almost everywhere. It's so quick and simple to set up, not to mention small so it's easy to carry. It's been great for camping. Love taking it to parks. It's nice to have around when you just want to take a break and relax. I even set it up in my cube at work. So long as you have something to hook this bad boy to, you're good to go. I don't recommend this hammock for two adults though. Just get two hammocks. No one wants to roll into each other all night long. I mean c'mon.
"LOVE this thing, we never go without it"
We keep our double nest in the car at all times because it is so handy and comfortable! It's been great to take on hikes. We like to carry it along with plans to hike several miles just for the opportunity to lay down and relax in it in the middle of the woods for a while. It goes up super fast and I've impressed with the quality as well. My husband bought me one (the double) then decided he wanted his own (a single) for when we sleep in them all night. My sister also thought they were awesome so she bought one as well (another single). Big believers
I doubt there is a better product on the site. Whether you are using it for recreational relaxing in the backyard or taking it into the back country for some serious hiking. I highly recommend the atlas straps to go with it, they make setting up even easier and allow much more flexibility than the other straps they offer. Not sure why you're still reading, just buy it already!!
Hammock is amazing. It definitely can fit two people however, its hard to get in a good position ;). If you are going to get any eno hammock make sure to also buy straps for it. It doesnt come with anything to tie to to the trees.
I've had this hammock for about half a year now and it's still like new even though I use it very often. I've jumped into it, flipped in it, swung in it -- very durable. Also, two people can fit snugly with extra room to move around. Very good for taking naps outside on a nice sunny day and a great addition to barbecue events. There is a convenient pocket on the side of the hammock where you can store small items while you take a nap. Lastly, it can be hung pretty much anywhere and over anything (get creative)! Also, great for stacking hammocks.
I love this hammock. I have to admit, i was a bit skeptical at first- could it hold the weight? how hard will it be to put up? Well, it held me. I just took a nice nap in my back yard in my ENO hammock. Its so comfortable! Putting it up was a no brainer and anyone with two sturdy points to wrap the straps (sold separately) around could do it. I can't wait to take it on vacation!
Bought this to lighten the pack and replace a tent. I love the simply setup and tear down. I personally stretch it very tight so I am straight and parallel to the ground and sleep very comfortably. In my opinion, it is a "no brainer" get the doublenest because you can wrap the sides around you to use as a "bug net". I would recommend this hammock to anyone.
If you want a hammock that is roomy, comfortable, and will probably turn you into a lazy bum that is late for work because he's asleep in his hammock....THIS IS IT!!!! This this is absolutely great. It is very compact and light weight. When I first put it up...I looked at it and wondered how it would hold my big old............well, the point is, it can take some weight!!! I would not hesitate to get another!
"Easy to setup and break down, folds small, lightweight"
Absolutely love these hammocks. Had been bumming my friends' for long enough and decided to get my own. No better way to end the day than in a hammock. Only downside, mine shipped missing a carabiner but luckily I had something laying around the house to replace it. Love having the big hammock to sprawl out in and even have a little company.
