"Not made for an everyday school backpack" 11/11/10
I'm happy with the highly-visible fluorescent color. The material the cover is made of seems to do a great job keeping the rain out, but it's not built for an everyday school backpack. The only way for the cover to stay onto the backpack is to fit over the top hump of the sack. This is great if you're using it over a hiking backpack, but it slips right off an everyday backpack. I've tried putting it on upside down and tying the drawstrings to the top of my backpack, but even that won't allow a tight fit and instead exposes part of the top of my pack to the rain. It would also be nice if there were some kind of security strap to loop around the other side of the backpack.
