"Workhorse!" 12/21/11
So i got this bag primarily for overnight backpacking trips, but i use it for so much more. It acts like a duffel bag with its side zipper.I can get to anything in my bag without pulling everything out. Its built rugged and super comfortable. Not the lightest bag on the market, but in exchange you receive durability and comfort. You can spend more and get a better bag, but your gonna have to pay A LOT more!! I Like the smaller backpack that clips on. The shoulder straps are of good quality, and makes a great day hiker. It comes on and off in seconds. No problem taking this backpack on plane as carry-on.
"This pack is the bomb..." 12/13/10
I've had a lot of backpacks and this pack is by far the most comfortable and user-friendly out of any pack I've owned. Which means you can carry it around all day without things digging into your hips and back and it's easy to get at your stuff when you get to where you're going. Deuter is the cadillac of packs, and this one is no exception. Easy to adjust too, so it will pretty much fit anyone. If you're thinking about getting this pack, just go for it!
"Great pack for all excursions" 04/29/10
Ive used this pack when travelling to many different cities in europe as well as multiple multiday trecks that provide a wide variety of environments. This bag held up great for about 5 days in the Canaries. Even when I had to brush up some volcanic rock, the bad didnt rip or tear. The durability is great. All the pockets are good size(for what i put in them) and the compartments are easy to get things in and out of. (like cameras). The rain cover that comes with it is real easy to put on and is a life-saver. Only thing i wish i had waited for was the tri-zip style. All in all Im sure ill have this bag for many years to come. Id recommend to all
