Love the idea - LOVE IT! Make sure your baby is big enough!Saw this Kangakid on a fellow parent and had to order one stat. In my excitement of envisioning our upcoming airplane travel being so much smoother and with less 'stuff' to drag thru security (I get all sweaty trying to break down a stroller while fellow travelers stand behind you and sigh heavily) I neglected to read small print. This only works for babies who can sit up completely on their own. Our babe is close - but she's not quite ready for this one. Definitely recommend it - but make sure your little one is big enough!!

Great for urban adventures and shorter hikesThe Kanga is great for trips around town, shorter hikes, play dates to the park, etc. Itâs a fully functional day pack that unzips to hide a kid-carrying backpack (roo style) with a full safety harness. It lets you indulge your budding young walker and their new found independence streak. Our daughter was saying âme walk, me walkâ anytime we headed the mile into town or to the park or on the shorter hikes. After awhile she tires out and wants to be picked up which is tough on the arms, but now with the Kanga she just goes for a ride. It has good compartments to separate your kid items, keeps your child comfy on your back, carries well. Only drawback is there's no neck support so they need to stay awake and be big enough to hold their head up. We also have a Deuter KC3 - which is perfect for naps. Pack fits well under seats, perfect for airports/buses etc. I'm 5'10" and the pack fits well but I'm near the upper limit - the KC packs would be better for a tall guy.

Get it!This bag is great!! We were looking at others, but this one was the most comfortable. It fits a lot in it, but it's not bulky. Our son seems to enjoy it too.
