"Well made, lots of pockets!" 05/09/12
A slim profile, well made day pack. Works well also as a carry-on for minimalist traveling. The person who said that it extends above the head must be very oddly shaped. Above the shoulders maybe, yes. If you like top-loading daypacks with plenty of pockets (not many of those out there, you may have noticed), give it a try.
"Super comfy daypack" 04/24/12
At first I was slightly skeptical of the compressed size of the pack out of the box thinking it wouldn't be big enough to hold my gear. Once I undid the straps and opened it up my worries were curbed. It's big enough to handle my larger loads (ropes, harnesses, layers, etc) when I want it too and can slim down significantly for those short day hikes. The air comfort feature creates a space between the pack and your back avoiding the dreaded pack sweat. The top of the pack does go higher then the shoulders which isn't ideal if you're trying to scramble up some rocks or dodge a fallen tree but overall very comfortable and carries a decent load with ease.
"Not my favorite" 12/01/11
I ended up returning this pack after trying it out on some dayhikes. The back was stiff and the pack was not nearly breathable enough. Great raincover. Pack also extends above wearer's head, making it kind of unwieldy for city use backpacking around Europe. I'd recommend buying a pack with back suspension instead.
