Wonderful pack especially for the price! It makes for a nice strap on head rest too. This pack has just about everything you would need minus the toilet. The construction quality is great, stitching is well done and the materials are sturdy. The color of the pack is a plus too. As for storage this thing is great, huge internal compartment and great side pockets, also, the brain has ample room. The adjustable suspension is great too, it is adjustable enough that you don't have to worry too much about in between sizes. The cushioning is great on this pack, you won’t feel a thing. The air channels seem to work just fine. The only cons are that it is so tall that it's like a strap on headrest and the straps are really long so you have to tie them up with rubber bands.

COULDN'T HAVE PURCHASED A BETTER PACKMy boyfriend bought me the female version of this - also a 45+10 pack. This summer we went to the smokies and I used it for fifteen days straight. This was by far the most comfortable pack I've ever used. The breathability is amazing and the straps DO NOT RUB - which is a huge plus for me. I have had bad experiences with other packs. The space is beautiful and Deuter even throws in a few little hidden compartments for you. It is worth the price - easily. I will continue to use the Deuter packs for the rest of my life. I love this pack so much!

Best bang for the buckI love this bag. I took it to Europe for 3 weeks of backpacking, its been to a bunch of peaks in the Adirondacks and it is fantastic. My original purpose was for hiking and camping so I opted for this as opposed to their model designed for air travel with a zippered cover for the straps...I'm glad i did. I'm pretty sure this is way more comfortable and the straps are easily removable to put it on the plane. I can verify that with airline allowed 30 kg (~66 lb) you barely even feel it on your back. The compartments are enormous and well designed and the rain cover is awesome. The construction is superb, the only hole in it was from my poor packing when I had a belt buckle right up against the exterior when I was flying and it obviously got rubbed against a bunch of stuff in the plane and handling and still it only got a small hole where the sharp edge had rubbed. the hole didn't tear or enlarge at all, even after another 11 flights and 2 weeks of traveling. I couldn't wish for more.
