"Bright orange is so bright and exactly what we wanted."  01/07/13

I bought these for my husband so I could spot him on the mountain. There are tons of bright jackets but not a lot of bright orange Cal Trans pants. We got large for the length and they are still a little too short. We will have to take in the waist but they do have velcro strap adjusters and he's wearing them right now on so it's not crucial to get them altered. He is about 6'3" and wears size 31-32 jeans. He loves all the pockets since he likes to have all kinds of stuff with him. The pants are comfortable and insulated but he did wear long underwear with them today since it's pretty cold. We would recommend these pants especially for the price.
