Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shoes are great for practically everything! For a person who often haunts bargain basements and thrift stores, buying ninety dollars sandals was a big step. My goal, though, was to find a pair of shoes that I could truly go everywhere in. Thus far I have been hiking, kayaking, swimming, shopping, beach-going, and relaxing in these shoes and have not yet been very dissapointed. The toe strap is definitely a plus, especially for down-hill trekking. Albeit, they do loose some traction when wet and the sides around the heel rub ever so slightly, which might be because I take my feet to be much slimmer than they actually arebut altogether they are great shoes and I am proud of my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ladyfriend LOVES her chaco's! Before the summer music festival season started this year, I purchased my ladyfriend a pair of these chaco's. She needed new ones, her old pair was completely shot. So I picked out these ones for her in the multi-red style. I kid you not, since she got them in her hands, they have not left her feet (except to sleep and shower). She says they are beyond comfortable. If any of you have been to a big summer music fest, you know TONS of walking and dancing is involved. You need amazing footwear. or you are in for a world of hurt. Like I said, these havent left her feet. So that is a pretty solid testament to the build quality and comfort of these sandals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE them, but they hurt my toe! I bought this style because a) they were cute and b) I thought the big toe strap would help my feet stay secure when hiking. While still cute, the toe strap actually ends up severely irritating my big toes if I'm hiking. (Not the skin, necessarily, it tweaks something weird in my toe) It's an easy fix though, if I'm hiking I just adjust the straps so the toe loop goes away, and if I'm just hanging out I can let it back out to play. I'll probably get the other style if I buy another pair, but as for doing what it was made for? Excellent. I've always loved giving my feet more freedom in the outdoors than hiking boots and these are the best way to do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't love them more than I do! I was very hesitant to buy strappy sandals. They're not always attractive looking, and I had grown up mocking tourists wearing them. I had some friends talk me into these however, and I have never looked back. They are my favorite pair of shoes and I spend my summers now working on my Chaco tan. They're great for just about anything (although I can't say I've worn them to a wedding...yet), but especially when you need good traction. I spend a lot of time in a river down the road and would probably have broken my ankles a few times, were it not for the fact that I always have my Chacos on. Please purchase. You won't be sorry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase I have ever made. SERIOUSLY! I am in love with these shoes. Really. They are so durable and work in every situation. I have hiked, ran, casually worn them, and even swam in them. I got the brown ones so they wouldn't show dirt as much! The big strap around the toe is the best. I feel like it gives me more support. They fit my feet perfectly, and they form to your feet in a weird way. I seriously feel one with my chacos now. Weird I know. I can't leave home without them in the summer. They may seem expensive, but I know people that have worn them every day for years. WORTH THE MONEY! Best investment I have ever made. GET SOME! You will NOT be disappointed. And let's face it, they are SUPER CUTE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from supportive sandals are sensational as a person who likes to spend a lot of time outdoors both casually and on hiking trips, i have found these to be the perfect balance between an easy shoe to wear and full arch and foot support. I wore these to work a lot and they still look nice while being super durable. The toe piece often bothers a lot of people but in my opinion it made my foot feel more secure for more active climbing hikes. When i commit that fashion faux pas and wear socks with my sandals i just pull the straps so that the toe portion is hidden. When i wore it like this the front felt floppyer and not as secure as before and i often tripped over my own feet but who knows, i'm really clumsy:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, Cute, and hold up to a beating on and off the trail. It came time for me to get a new pair of z/2's after about 5 years of almost constant use of my last pair. My last pair are still going strong but I decided a second pair would serve me give me time to send my old pair in for new soles and more fashion options. They give me great stability for hikes and other less extreme adventures, stay attached to your feet quite well and keep your feet firmly planted to the ground. Once you get used to 'em you won't want to take 'em off, be warned. These really give you a good structural suport for your feet. Give yourself a few days to get all the strap stuff worked out just right and don't forget to "floss" them after muddy/sandy adventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chaco's are AWESOME! If debating between buying or not... definitely BUY! :) I received my black unaweep z/2 chaco's last week and I absolutely love them already! I have not received any blisters at all and have worn them a ton. Whatever you want to wear them with, they will definitely match. The strap system on Chaco's is a little different, but the instructions are very easy to follow right inside the box. I'm going to New Orleans Friday and my Chaco's will be the only shoes I'm packing. I thought the sandals ran a little big. I wear an 8.5 Asics tennis shoe, and got an 8 in Chaco's. If I would order another pair I would buy a 7. They are a little big... but nothing major. And I can't notice because they are strapped on perfectly. Please buy! You won't regret it!
