"The Chaco Z/1 Unaweep sandals are the greatest sandals ever made! I can walk around them all day and never get any foot fatigue. I take them whenever I go camping or fly fishing, and on rare occasions I've even been seen dancing in them. That is about as allusive as getting a picture of bigfoot!"

"there aint no bottom line" 04/16/13
chacos are the best...my feet are in terrable shape hammer toes bunions heel spurs broken toes and chacos make em work picken coffee, lava walking, and reef walking none of these could I do without my chacos if id learned how good they were before all my accidents those accidents would have been prevented...even when I sing in the chorus I put black socks over them so they match my gown and I can stand for longerI love em recommend them for Hawaiian Lua feet.."he go"shanna
"The best (probably) sandals you can buy" 12/13/12
After year and a half I can just say I love them. I had a few blisters at the beginning, before I found the sweet spot for the adjustable straps but since then they are my best friends in summer, spring and fall. I would wear them in winter, too, but sadly my toes would freeze off here:-)
"Sturdy and comfortable sandal!" 11/24/12
I have used this sandal while sailing and hiking. The soles are made by Vibram and if for some reason the sole wears down after years of use you can send your sandals in to them and they will put a new sole on your sandals for a very reasonable price. If you're looking for a sandal that will last and that will hold up no matter the environments then this is the sandal for you.
"First pair: 7 years, just got my second pair." 08/18/12
The only downside to these is that they are now sourced from foreign soil. Oh well, so is everything else. These sandals wear like nobody's business. I ran the first pair for 7 years before they finally blew out. Every day hiking, bike touring, kayaking, or mowing the lawn. They have proven themselves worthy of their reputation. The thick sole is great for hiking or river walking, offers great 'bottom of foot' (there's probably a medical word for that) protection so your feet don't get bruised. Best of all, you get a Z shaped tan from them! How cool is that!
"Best Sandals" 03/24/12
These have amazing arch support and should be purchased based on your arch. Go into a store and try on a pair, I had to go up a shoe size to get a proper fit - they don't sell half sizes. Amazing sandals, great ankle support, very comfortable and the unaweep is perfect for hiking!
"Chacos are Beast" 02/24/12
I bought my first pair of Chaco's back in 2008 and I still have and ware them today. They truly are great sandal and you cant beat the warranty that these sandals come with. The Vibram sole may be one of Vibrams greatest soles ever made. These sandals do cost quite a bit but you won't be disappointed.
"all weather sandal!" 01/06/12
these will surivive anything! I wear these year round with socks when it gets cold. I havent had any problems with them at all. the key to their radness is the fact that if anything goes wrong or breaks it can be replaced!! Ill never have to buy another pair again. The only con I can think of is they start to smell bad afte awhile but that can be fixed by a simple wash.
"The Best Sandal Ever Created" 10/24/11
There's a reason this is a "staff pick." It's just a flat-out amazing sandal. With the heavy polyurethane midsole, you get support that doesn't wear out. And with replaceable parts, it is truly a product you can wear forever. I'm not a fan of most of the strap colors and designs, but I guess I'm the kind of guy that more often than not wears my black Z/1s anyway. For any use, this product works great!
"Commmmffffyyyyy!!!" 07/20/11
These sandals are amazing!! The straps hug your feet securely and are easy to put on and take off. The Vibram soles feels so secure on the trail wether your scrambling through rocks or crossing creeks. Good Buy.
"so great" 05/27/11
Although they took some getting use to, these are the best footwear ever. I got a pair, bu wasnt really feelin em for a while, then i went on a backpacking trip in europe and decided to give these a go. they were the only pair of shoes i packed for the whole trip. it was awesome. they have the support of a hiking boot, and the freedom of flip flops. i would recomend easing your way in to them, as youll need to develop some caluses around some of the straps...for me it was around the buckles. but i have discovered that by owning these, i need not another pair of shoes. they are so versatile and sturdy!its a big investment for a pair of sandals..but all in all definately worthit
"The Standard" 04/11/11
So much longer lasting and comfortable than any other sandals on the market. My Teva's didn't make it long while I was a whitewater guide but my Chacos are still kickin. They take a while to break in but after a few blisters they settle in great. I prefer the ones without a toe loop for the comfort.
