They are everywhere now, so they are almost cliche, but they are supremely comfortable. I tried the Chaco's with the big-toe strap, but just couldn't get comfortable with that. I wear these everywhere in summer and they are great and comfortable even on extended walks. My only complaint is that they need to be scrubbed once a week or so to keep the sandal funk smell to a minimum. Super-durable too, after 3 years mine still look new after washing.

When I first bought my Chacos i was a bit disappointed with how they felt, but after wearing them for several weeks they were much more comfortable than my tevas. super durable and last forever. The best thing is you can send them back to Chaco's to get them resoled or restrapped

"Still the best sandal" 		          09/02/09
This is my second pair of Chaco's. My first pair was made in the USA and I was apprehensive when I was made aware that they were now being made in China. I must say I cannot tell any difference in the two sandals quality with the only exception being that the Chinese version has a somewhat softer footbed making them a tad bit more comfortable. Chaco's are my goto footwear as I have shoes, boots and of course the sandals. Top notch quality, comfort and great durability. Still #1

This sandal by far exceeds my expectations of it. I use as an approach shoe walking through the woods getting to the rock. It does excellent through creek beds, on sticks, basically any kind of terrain! Comftorable, fits well, and an all around good sandal! Highly recommend!

I just love these sandals, I wear them every day in the summer. They not only are great to do short hikes with but also a great camp shoe after a long days hike put on the comfy chacos to give your feet a well deserved break.

"Quality Sandal" 		          08/12/09
This sandal is really good. I have used it from jsut a day to day around to pretty challenging hiking all the way to being used as a deck shoe while on a boat to go SCUBA diving. I must say I have yet to slip, slide or anything in between. They seemed a little weird feeling on my foot at first but I thik the straps slide or strech or maybe I just got used to it but within a day they felt just natural. If you are looking for sandals it would be just short of stupid to not buy these worth every penny. LTM

I absolutely love Chaco's. I wish I could wear them to work! Ultimate adjustability, comfort, support, and coolness come together to form a quartet of awesomeness that can't be matched by other sandals. I had some Z/2's for years, but thought it was time to ditch the toe strap (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

"This shoe of the gods." 		          05/09/09
I've had mine for about 5 years, except mine's the cobra Z/1 that you can't really find anymore... tears. They hold up like a monkey on a tight-wire. I've climb (kind of hard on the footing though), crossed a couple of creeks, hiked, rafting is a must in these, oh and wore them for every season known to mankind. The only time that i have washed them was last week. The bottoms ware out kind of easy but that’s all cool because you can get them sent to the Chaco spa to replace the upper stings and resole.
